bby healers you mean the fat american men in white suits who shout while handing around the collection plate? or do i stereotype
I would say you stereotype from what you've seen on a movie or something. By the sounds of it you have no idea or interest in what I am saying. FYI, I've never seen a fat American or men in white suits IRL before.

meh
*joins the queue for hell, aisle 6*
If you are willing to admit that it
could be true then you have a more open mind than most people ever do. I hope you come to a realisation before its too late and leave the queue.

Lol cue to hell,
I'm just going to give the spiritual finger to all the willfully ignorant as my consciousness dissipates into the fabric of the universe.

You can be a jew and yet be a Christian. Also, who are we to say "your going to hell" ect.... we don't know. God is the final judge. The buck stops there...

I can't believe people are still posting this, thought this question died out.
The answer is so obvious i won't bother writing it again.
unless of course you only meant it metaphorically

in which case i'm still wondering about the relevance of it to this topic

My eyes are not Gods eyes. That is an issue between the person and God.
I doubt you could get into heaven/ have eternal life if your not a Christian.

lol thriller i have 2 ridiculously long straws to go the the kegs. beer the lazy way
i do find it odd how jews probably wont get into heaven when jesus was a jew was he not?
no man/woman/ladyboi knows the nature of god. ive always thought that every religion is only a different interpretation of what god is and wants. its a fundamental attribute of humans to disagree on religion ever since religion got organised (entrenched).
a few questions:
*why did christianity launch a crusade which killed so many people?
*why were people killed by the church for nothing more than trying to spread new knowledge about our world and existence?
*why did the church not oppose the holocaust?
*why was slavery allowed by christianity and even justified by the bible?
all are are bad and evil things. christianity has commited terrible sins. it lost the right to moral high ground on a collective basis. admittedly its more about the individual than the leaders of the church. accepting and having absolute belief in christianity (in accordance with the way the leaders say it must be believed) is not justified. history has proven the faith imperfect and as corrupt as any organisation. im not shouting out against the religion, but seeing it as the leaders tell you to is a bad way to worship. i struggle to make my point so i apologise if it is unclear.

The Crusades originally were launched with the goal of recapturing Jerusalem and the Holy Land from Muslim rule, not a senseless killing spree.
Your 2nd question is a little broad. (Not sure what your referring too)
I'm not sure if the church did or didn't oppose the holocaust. I've never read into it. However though you say they didn't oppose it they didn't support it either.
Slavery was allowed by Christianity and is even justified by the Bible you say? Please explain.

but the result was many, many needless deaths and much suffering. crusades were authorised/ordered by the church.

i was refering to scientists and the like who were burned at the stake simply for spreading truth.

the german church was compliant, even eager to assist in the mass murder of jews and others. they provided birth certificates to help with the slaughter. its argued that the vatican was aware of the holocaust yet choose not to act or speak against it.
Slavery was allowed by Christianity and is even justified by the Bible you say? Please explain.
''Historically, passages in the Old Testament of the Bible have been used as justification of the keeping of slaves, and for guidance in how it should be done.'' ''in 1452, when Pope Nicholas V instituted hereditary slavery of captured Muslims and pagans, which effectively meant Africans or Asians. As he read the Bible, God had instructed his faithful to make slaves of the neighboring heathens. Since then, various Christian groups taught that Africans were the descendants of Ham, cursed with "the mark of Ham" (dark skin) to be servants to the descendants of Japheth (Europeans) and Shem (Asians)''
