Let's be honest, jason will need to have a way to fund this. There will always be people who will try to buy their way to accounts.
I say a big plus to AC. There's a few good updates that we can bring with us of course.
So who wants to give this to jason for his review and answer?
As I said, bonuses with SS/USS.
More bank space, ppt, extra UP/naq.
1x48hrs PPT a week..without SS/USS...well if 2 is too much, why not then.
I understand what your saying now. Sorry I misunderstood you the first time. My mistake.

Yes, I agree, One time Protection per weekf or 48 hours with no exrta goodies unless paid for via a SS or USS.
That's fair.

I'm not sure this will ... occur like the old people are hoping to. I played way back when, and the only reason it truly made it the way it was was because of the size. The amount of players who are around now are so much more numerous, player etiquette has changed drastically, alliances would still be formed whether they exsisted in game or not.
If it can occur, great, I'm all for it. But I think what made the old times, the good times, were the people who played it. The Old Guard. There are hardly any left from there, though their mannerisms and respect levels are much more notoriously high then the newer genereations.
Just my opinion.

As for old races, yes, old races and no new ones, and no ascended. Good old Race Wars can return

after a little thought, i'd have to agree...what was i thinking?! lol

No, excepted first rounds and round 11 who were old school, it's full of unique updates that never existed in main.

Player etiquette changed because changes to the game meant that actions had far less consequence than they did previously, people could do anything they wanted to do without repercussion. This bred arrogance.
I don't think whether alliances exist in-game or not, but would still be formed is even an issue.

Alliances aren't a problem, game mechanics are.
Alliances existed since first month (not tagged ingame but still)

I always thought not having ingame alliance tags created a bit if intrigue.. people belonged to more than one alliance and there was a bit more spying as a result.

I can see two sides to alliances. On the side with it, it creates the old family play style again. On the other side, it creates more fights
