That's exactly what FEARLESS wanted to pull off, but there is no point in massing someone at the early stages. The best you can do is take away their income.

There is nothing in the rules about feeding - anything not forbidden is legal which means that it's legal "tactic" (or however you name it) and not cheating. You can call it "abuse" but it's legal (and I'm not defending Hippy here or saying that feeding is good)... And for now the only way to stop someone feeding is to sit on him to the end of era...

attack logs visible for everyone will be a good step to limit feeding but it should be also mentioned in rules that feeding of any kind is forbidden (or once for all that it's legal if admin decides that way ). And since next era (assuming that feeding will be illegal) accounts caught on feeding should be banned, stripped from stats or something like that.

I agree with you there, if its made illegal (I dont think it will) then there should be strict penalties to suit, this will need to be introduced at some stage otherwise this sort of gaming will just end, I love Q but im not paying my hard earned cash into something where there is no point.

I play hard and for the most part try to win (badly) so paying for it doesnt bother me, if there is even the remote chance of winning but if that (no matter how remote chance) is gone then my cash goes to the bar instead!

when i sugested making feeding against the rules at the admin meet on wed the admin guy said it was such a grey area that it would not be possable, althouh this dissapointed me i know what he means for example helping a alliance member who has been massed to get back on his feet= feeding or team work ? storing naq so you alliance mate can get next covert lvl= feeding or team work the thing we need to stop is inactive feeders they are the main problm

in my opinionthis is a problem caused by lazy players who wont put effort in and they shoul be ashamed of themselves

The whole purpose of a game is to challenge yourself against other players. In order to make this a true test of skill, games impose a set of 'rules' and parameters upon the competitors in order to level the playing field and ensure that victory is achieved by skill and strategy. The very act of feeding undermines the basic concept of a game. It is only legal because policing it would be troublesome due to the many grey areas. It is, therefore, up to the player himself to realise what is acceptable and what is not.

Would all of you please stop arguing the point by stating that is legal so its acceptable. According to that statement seijuro's feeding last wave was acceptable as long as he wasn't using multi accounts. It is irrelavant how much of an advantage is gained from it. That does not mean that it is acceptable. The reason being that it negates any advantage gained by players who have earned their advantage fairly.

The argument that every player who has ever won has been fed or spent $, so that means it is ok is equally ludicrous and retarded. Just because something has been done for a long time does not make it right. It used to be legal to beat your wife with a stick. Does that make it right? HELL NO.

Explain to me, if you can, WHY feeding is a fair and legal tactic, and why you support every player of quantum being a feeder, how this is beneficial for the server, and how this tactic is in line with the spirit of good sportsmanship and a level and equal playing field.

Edit - I'll also say this again.

A multi is a players secondary account whose purpose is to benefit a players primary account. Just because a player is getting their friend to do the work does not negate multi'ing.

The secondary accounts are not playing for their own benefit, they are purely passing naq on.

I therefore declare that the feeding that has been taking place is in fact multi'ing.

Ok, first of all where in my post did I say I supported feeding? I simpily admitted to being fed before..

For example: everyone who played a certain wave and finished in the first 5 pages, I dont remember which era it was though, was fed...

Alot of you will remember this wave, it was the wave when setting critical while being someones officer practically doubled your NAQ supporter bonus, and everyone had people logging in and making them their commander, hit critical, hit NAQ bonus, dismiss, attack...

This was brought up to Forum, all he said was that it was his mistake, and it would be removed the following wave...


A 'multi' occurs when you have more then one account in your possession, period, it doesnt matter what that account is doing, your only allowed ONE..

A feeding can occur in countless ways and I'll list some examples of feeding..

I will now list some examples of feeding:

Feeding can occur when a player, such as Athena, is not playing actively and PPTs giving you as a community, the rough time their PPT ends, with a fairly large NAQ hit... bebita you got the first of these, thus THIS VERY WAVE you have been fed... Slugworth Assrot you as well have been fed THIS VERY WAVE...

Feeding can occur when at farm fest, someone else is farming, then decides their not going to play that wave with all their farm fest NAQ in the bank and withdraws it and gives it to you..

Feeding can occur when your farming someone constantly and they offer you a ton of NAQ to declare peace...

Hell even being someones officer can be seen as feeding... if at the start of the wave you have 10 people login that dont play quantum and make you their commander for the Unit Production THAT too is being fed..

If your massing someone and they suddenly sell their weapons to try and bank and you get their NAQ, OMG you've just been fed!!1!!!11!!

If one of your friends quits and sells all their weapons and lets you hit, thats being fed...

But to get to the point the feeding your all so ass hurt about is when someone spends hours and hours farming NAQ for someone else without any gain for themselves... Honestly? You try to get someone to do that you'll be lucky to find one person to do it, you all seem to think that because Hippy admitted to being fed, that he has 100's of magical feeders giving him Naquadah daily.. Wrong... if Hippy had even had 5 feeders doing this weekly he'd have triple your army and wouldnt be massable right now.. Considdering how many people are close to hippy I would guess he had one or two friends that farmed maybe for an hour every other week for him...

It's really not as a huge of a deal as your all making it sound, two feeders giving you maybe the equivelent of a full bank every other week is about equal to hitting someone with a bigger army then your's PPT NAQ...


As much as I'd love to argue with you all about this more, I actually have a life other then SGW...

I do not play nor care about main and have not for over a year... If you wish to know who I am check the legends or ask anyone that has played Quantum for the last three years (excluding the past two waves as I have not played)...

Sorry to break your heart bebita, no you do not impress me and haven't ever done anything to impress me..

However much you to try to decieve the Quantum Community your going to find it much harder to decieve me. I know for fact that two waves ago you were fed onto the first page during the final month of the wave..

I know for a fact that you have been fed before seeing as you were a member of Legendary Alliance, the sister alliance to mine lead by Floopy...
