Heh.... You (try to) bunch me in the same category as you? How long have you been on these forums? My influence doesnt *JUST* reside amongst the spammers. It never was limited to that. Just because you didn't see it, it doesnt mean it isn't there.

i wonder why you post, knowing that veil is too thin.

no, I post that knowing full well what people say to counter things, I myslef would probobly do the same ;)

Well in any case, in your "boredom" you chose to waste that by continuing with inane dribble, in your "boredom" you chose to raise your postcount. You didn't chose in your boredom to try and start anything afresh or try and better the temple, or the spammer community. Boredom isn't an excuse. It's a Medium.

they wouldnt be nuked anywhere near as often as they have been if there was a balance between the inane posting of first faction and the witty posting of third, however none of you seem to understand that this lack of balance is one of the primary reasons for nuking

the lack of balance is due to the mods not weeding out those threads, and then deciding to just nuke the entire temple.

ok.. time to post something serious..
this thread looks like a political debate: 2 sides and both talking **Filtered** without having any idea about the nature of the problem.

The Harvard Principle wrote:Under the most rigorously controlled conditions of temperature, humidity, pressure, etc., the organism will do as it damn well pleases.

the nature of the problem is this:
we can think of the temple (and the entire forums in fact) as of a miniature society. so it behaves in the same way as "normal" society: a self-organising system in the critical state. this means:
1. it's the best as it can be in the given boundary conditions: forum rules, modding styles (so if the nukings are the result of crappy spam quality the crappy spam quality is the result of the nukings)
2. the "moods" (like spam styles) are constantly changing the way they like so no point moaning about this.
3. no one can successfully predict what will happen if any of the boundary condition changes in any way
4. what was working good in the past might work good or might work bad or might make no difference whatsoever in the present.

the only possible solution would be to create within the temple a few sections with different boundary conditions each and just see what happens.

this was the voice of science as always brought and presented to you by corran horn.

Bottom line for me: There is NO need for nukings whatsoever. There just is no point, other than to entertain yourselves. (Mods who frequently nuke)

[-X do not blame your lack of intelligent and witty spam on the mods it is not our fault that threads with one letter word symbol have been popping up far more frequently so quit your whining and either change it yourself or suck it up

edit: notice how everyone stopped posting here once they got the hiii thread back  but this wasnt about just one thread

:-k This thread.

:-s What is it about again?

:-$ Don't tell me.

:smt117 It's about chasing chickens!

:-" Twiddle-dee, twiddle-dum.

[-X People, listen to one another.

](*,) The arguments in this thread..

[-( Nothing further. Good day.

(In other news, okay, so since that Hii thread was restored, I guess we can all relax again and come off those darned high horses? I get scared of heights, and looking up from where I am sitting, it gets pretty scary.)

:-s Mmk. Suggestion noted. Now move on. Whenever it becomes interesting again, bring it up anew.

You guys (I mean everyone), now, are arguing about who started arguing.

When the argument becomes the argument itself it's a sign that you should step back and look at the big picture.

Thank you, Spacey, for those words of reflection. Time for some introspection, and well said. :)
