Well actually now its mentioned, that 20 bil naq situation does seem some what familiar, I remember (VAUGELY - mind you) Genlucky saying we had some sizeable amount of naqudah coming in and it was shared out amoungst the Alliance possibly, or used mostly on those who had massive stats and lost them at the begging of the conflict, but where this naq came from (pretty sure it was from winning a war however) and who gave it I dont know.
As stated, TA were given the option to disband as a get out of war clause, they choose to decline, Loyalty eh. I dont know about the rest of you, but when someone makes me an offer, whereby what their giving me is something that I want, but I don't like the price I have to pay. I won't say NO WAY!, then block any further contact with them, I will haggle. Perhaps this is how the offer of repayment came about. It can't be extortion if it was a combined haggle from both sides to a reperation to end hostilities.
Extortion, or at least the way peeps around these parts speak of it, (i.e, OMG YOU SCUMBAG EXTORTIONIST, HOW DARE YOU) should be when you tell somebody in these simple terms, I will mass and sit on you unless you give me XXXX resources. If I was to offer ETL 100 tril to never ever attack me for as long as he plays the game, would this be him extorting me if he accepts, I think not.
Just a note - ETL Im not giving you 100 tril either, lol xD
