I do find it slightly hypocritical to be going on and on and on about people spending money on the game or making profits from game when various people are allied to those doing the exact same things.

Seriously. a TTF alliance should find some1 of Similar power. to War.
ive never spent money into this game. and soemtimes i wonder if i ever will just to keep up agsint the power house accounts that the $$ get. but then i kno some people that use $$ to simply buy turns. and jsut destroy everything.

Now before we skip head over heels into this cash-no cash debate, let's stop that, and not do it.



TTF has a few interesting characters, same as FUALL. FUALL's interesting characters just like to make war more. TTF's interesting characters like chasing records.
I know, terribly short-sighted, overgeneralising and untrue.. but it's what I think is a big difference between TTF and FUALL, and the main reason why TTF won't do the kind of -and the multitude of- wars FUALL (or DDE..) does.

What I don't get is why do people try to imprint their ideals for this game on others. Just because you expect something does not mean others will do the same thing, in fact, I would likely do the opposite of what you want just because you say so. You created the fun wars and you do them, I'm sure if we want to do them we will, and your creating this topic is pointless and just try to further your ideals. I can't imagine an alliance not taking up another alliances offer for a friendly war, however just because we do not actively seek it somehow that doesn't work with what you want.

As for cash spending, sure people have more resources or better accounts then me, either by spending money, time or both, just means I have more priorities then this game. They deserve their resources, but that does not necessarily make any person a better fighter. For me, almost all resources I get go to the war, with one third of the UU I've lost being spys and defense supers. The fact that you generalize to again further theses ideals of a war, as I've seen many on FUALL with 0 defense and many in TTF with larger defenses.

As it comes down to it, it is and will always be the player that makes the account, and if you think for one second that TTF don't "have the go in them to continue", then you will be rudely awakened.

Ive never really brought into the idea of "fun wars" in this context. I enjoy wars that are fun, but i prefare them for a reason. To fight for a reason means i will fight my best. To fight for the sake of fighting does not interest me. Unfortunatly fun pretend wars are the only wars endable these days... *insert game mechanics talk here* .. sumation being, id rather find fun in a real war, than arrange wargames... I dont mean that offensively, ive taken part in and will probally take part in wargames and am in an alliance who actively seeks them out. They just dont give me the thrill, I like makeing new friends when your fighting someone youve never met, than fighting friends. I like the feeling of loseing an awesome account youve made yourself, or planets you wanted, worrying weather your merlin will last til you get home, or being bashed on ascended. Thats the game i like to play, thats what makes me enjoy it. Everyone enjoys there own styles, Fuall are simply too powerful for anyone, not even a proper organised coalition, to pose them a real threat, people dont wanna fight them cos they know they'l get decimated, thus they have to seek out fun were they can. Good on you for enjoying the way you play, Just like its good On TTF for enjoying what they do, they obviously do, cos its a game afterall, and they are still here!

I think youd have been more along the lines of, The way yall play is of a basic and generic design, You forfeit your freedom for your desires for war, your choices are those of a sheep and your sheep are lacking in wool. To keep warm in the winter you need wooly jumpers, but you do not have these, instead you hide within your over inflated accounts, a metephor unto your over inflated egos, all of you, peons, slaves to this game, the human race, Ants on the face of this Putrid and terrifieing earth.

I mean, thats just what id expect you to say, As a basic example....Maybe less profound and more fiendish... You get the picture.

I deactivated my facebook for the foreseeable future. I am giving up on the internet relatively soon.. I don't really have any reason to use it to such a degree any more.

On the other hand we should get drunk together sometime soon.


To put this back on topic.... I think fun wars are the last desperate attempts of the deluded to hide from the fact the game is bust. Eventually the fun wars are going to stop working and you'll all be sitting here twiddling your thumbs coming here to play on my territory or finally uniting to go to Jason.. or hell.. the game might ever be broken.
