I was dubious over Reina to start, but I wasn't aware that he won't play all the games. I thought he was the first choice keeper? Or are they just conserving his energies?

Oh wow, Cassilas, totally forgot about him!
Replaced him with Buffon at the expense of Gronkjaer for some unknown forward to make up the difference.

Well, thing is Villa will face less hard to beat teams. Chile is the only real challenge for Spain (Honduras and Swiss have few good players but I do think Spain will score against them), while Portugal will face two worthy teams.
Villa is a better choice at this level, agreed.

But it would need to change my team set, given I already got Fabregas and Sergio Ramos..

Haha. I had a look, placed a couple and soon got bored!

The quiz is pretty good though. Have you tried it?

I must have the 2002 WC panini stickers collection+book to stick them somewhere...unless I lost it, which I hope not.

Panini stickers have always sucked IMO! I don't know if they had/have them in France (or elsewhere) but does anyone remember the Merlin stickers? Those were by far the superior stickers and certainly the most collectable back when I was a young whipper-snapper (boy Jim, boy lol).
I had 3 complete Premier League books, 96, 97 and 99. I went and sold them when I was skint broke at 17 years old to some Norwegian guy on eBay for an incredible loss. What the hell was I thinking.
Anyway, my revised team if anyone's interested.
Formation: 4-4-2
GK: G. Buffon
DEF's: G. Pique, J. Terry, T. Mertesacker, Maicon.
MID's: F. Lampard, F. Malouda, S. Schweinsteiger, Kaka.
ATT's: L. Messi, C. Ronaldo
SUB GK's: Woonjae, Bannatyne.
SUB DEF's: R. Nelsen, L. Jacobsen, L. Neill.
SUB MID's: Y. Toure, K. Nakamura, S. Pienaar, Park Jisung.
SUB ATT's: C. Kum Chol, D. Milito, Suazo.I'm satisfied with this team now. There'll be no more tinkering unless there are injuries.
If anyone wants that layout for their own team and can't be bothered to type it, I've taken the liberty of doing it for you should you need it.
