LIKE THE SHIP WOULDN'T KNOW THE SLINGSHOT WOULD SEND IT IN TO THE STAR!!!!!
I was expecting the power issue to be resolved at the end of the episode

>_> <_<
It means ANYONE can use 'Destiny' regardless if they have the ATA Gene or not.

Anyone that can figure out how the hell to use it... it pretty much flies itself regardless..
I don't see how that is a problem.. Anyone can use Earth Ships >_>

Empedocles.
The thing is, if I'm not mistaken, Destiny was launched from Earth. Atlantis was how the Ancients got to Earth.

Nahhh, the Ancients settled on Earth from the Ori galaxy. Then they launched Atlantis from Earth to Pegasus. Destiny is like the oldest Ancient ship, just look at the Stargate, it seems like one of the first ever built or something.

Oh right. >_> :$
But still... The Ancients should've known better

The way they're trying to set sgu is by having Destiny before Atlantis tech.....I'll just accept that and take the show from there....
As for the new episode - why is gamer boy having a day off? I thought they'd only just got there a couple of days ago max? "Meh, I'm bored of trying to save all our lives....lets skive for a bit and perve on a couple of girls"
Once again...."lets use the communication stones to send a completely pointless message to my wife instead of using them to stay alive". Once again, Colonel Young has said they're the wrong people for the task, with him not able to trust or communicate with his head scientist but forced to compromise because Rush is all he's got.....Hmm, if only there was a way he could get Mckay and Carter to have a look at getting into the main systems and helping out for a few hours whilst they still had power.....if only....
Did they experience some particularly difficult and unexpected turbulence when they did that sling shot around the gas giant? Surely a ship that sophisticated would been able to calculate its trajectory....unless something intervened for it to go wrong....but it all went seemingly smoothly....
To be honest, it was a nothing episode.....there was no start, middle or end....
Starting to feel myself lose interest.....

Well I personally think Destiny is gonna 'siphon' power from that red dwarf. (There's a reason it's a red dwarf - small - meaning Destiny will be able to get real close to it without a forceshield.

Then why was the initial prediction that it would send them on an entirely different course?
I think that they thought it was going to send them towards a planet or whatever because that seemed logical, they had no power so how could the know for sure anyways? I am sure the ship knows what it's doing and like I said before and CABAL said, I bet the ship wants to go towards the Red Dwarf and will get power from it.
About McKay or Carter coming to the rescue.. get over it. Those two are NOT going to be coming ever, and I hope they don't, ever. It would just another season of SG1 or Atlantis if they did.. I mean really. They can't use the stones for everything and in a pinch they can't run to the stone and get the person for the job, the people there need to learn how to work the ship because they are the ones there...
The last episode did suck though..... so far there are confusing things and a lot of things to think about like "WTH..." I will stick through to the end of the season and hopefully things will be a lot more clear then and I can really get in to the show and not be scratching my head at every commercial break.

Are you talking about Destiny? They don't have control over Destiny yet... They can't even access the main systems.

I like this show, and no matter all these long ass posts (which I refuse to read because I don't like reading the gayness of your paranoid theories cough cough), I will like it.
It has great potential, and you have yet to really see anything. Just like the other Stargate series. Just shut up, and enjoy it. Stop looking to deep into things and just enjoy the show for pete's sake.
