All of this mod bashing is counterproductive and looks to me like manipulation by someone behind the scenes that will lead to an eventual beatdown like the old days, I think all parties ought to just stick a nipple in it and roll on..massing or harrassing over msn chats or insults is rediculous and carrying it over into a public area is even more so. Picking on trainees new players is weak.

Whats starting to irk me is that that even in this thread its just mod after mod being abusive. I`m starting to not know why you berate grizz for not seperating msn, forum & game, when you clearly arent capable of doing that either lol.
But lemme ges... everybody was just joking again right? Find a sense of humor davs. Loose the stick up yer rectum. Yea, funny how some people dont get to make nearly as many jokes on these forums as others do. Thats the biggest punchline of them all.
But god forbid you doubt the system.

And now the same mods that have been abusive in the last few pages are going to adopt a holier than thou defence stance. And you know who you are, if you dont, flip back a couple pages.

A lot of of us know just how you go about doing your jobs. We all now know how you go about conversing behind peoples backs about them. But atleast put in the effort to post befitting your positions. Leave us the illusion of integrity for petes sake. Behave.

well sicne ive been away at work all day grizz gets himself a 7 page vendetta. damn and i thought he was all cuddly and cute

a couple of things i wanted to say.

firstly every player knows that beign a part of an allaince comes with priviliges and comes with responsibilities. you are responsible for your own actions but for your allaince as well, in the same way you recive alliance benefits you recieve allaince repercussions.

secondly this goes to the mods and admins involved in this. you volunteered yourselves to be given the opertunity to keep some sort of order and look after these forums, you are entrusted with that power and responsibility and you have a greater duty of care than the average user on here. that means your actions and words be it on here on msns ingame will have greater consequences than agin the average user.

thridly for all those crying at how msn/forum/ingame actions are beign taken out of control and being used against one another tell me where have you been for the past 4-5 years this game ahs been running. this is not the first time things cross over and it wont be the last. how many times have mods been massed or threatend ingame for forum actions.

the two things are linked togther, there is no game without the forums and no forums without the game.

ps. @ tetris keep your opions to yourself and if you want to take things ingame then talk to odin first about it

That's like a boss wire tapping his employee's home and holding him accountable for what he says about work there. The Forums are not the same thing as MSN, and neither is ingame. I've never been insulting or "mean" on the forums, and I take offense that my role as a member of the staff here is rolled in to literally everything I do anywhere.

If anyone cares to ask what I actually said on MSN, because none of it was offensive, then they can ask. Alternatively you can just judge me based on what people say.

DDE never started a war over such since I been here..thats a fact. However I do not think you need to bring specific names into this as your reply to my post as I did not.

every person handles things differently and does things differently.

you have some people who never visit forums yet spend all day on msn and ingame and others all day on forums and never ingame.

we are trying to build on "our" community we have going here by trying to find ways to attract new players and so on but to move forward we have to fix the present and look at the past.

our forums are a very good place to be when they are running smoothley but when there are conflicts amongst each other then emotions get the better of some and their judgements get clouded.

i point the finger at the big man behind all this, he needs to pay more attention to whats going on here all the time otherwise there might come a time soon when there will be nothing left.

you boys have fun and do what you want with this V

JT you must be joking but then again most of the biased and crappy mods/admins are FUALL atm before it used to be TLE and FUALL before that yeh i can go on lol.

its a mess because some people can't let Grizz have some fun and have a vendetta ingame, and these people have to voice their opinions here for some reason.

It does not matter how good and consistent a mod does ..if thier a member of FUALL then thier crappy in your eyes and I am sure others eyes..ya know what? If thier doing a good job them I voice support for them I could care less for thier alliance association..if they do a bad job likewise regardless of alliance association..ask em..they wont lie on my behalf..

I was away when this erupted but it looks to me like Griz simply got fed up with a few players that have been repeatedly acting disrespectfully in our war thread and on MSN.

I agree with Eärendil that the ombudusman has no power, which is why I discouraged anyone from TL in running for the job.

When Jason asked me to establish the Ombudsman Job Descriptions and election process a few years ago I envisaged the roles as being independent working along side Forum Admins.

However, my peers at the time disagreed (all of which is on record) which is why the positions report to the Forum Admins who have the final say on all complaints (whether they choose to excercise that right or not).
