do not think beta would test this one accurately. and i am using the 'it is better than before any updates' theory now

so we're already in the plus -- not its just a matter of degrees.
but yes, what you suggest is generally smarter

It's a good idea. But this trial-and-error might not be the most effective way of getting the final solution to this one in.

why not just remove it, most of the times it get abused
ppl builds huge strikes and do like 20 hits farming then repairing 1t worth for few b. also wit just one repair one prevents a succesfull mass instead of pulling out resources to repair

thoughts on the "*RIGHT*" numbers can be discussed. I am more prone to listening to logical arguments and ideas than 'sky is falling' type ones

heh I actually was talking in MSN that 4 for all weapons would seem better then 2

but 5/50 seems like a good balance I am for that I wasnt gonna say anything cause you already came and did changes after listening to people and have done quite a bit of work, overall the changes are good. I don't care for the 4x3hr PPT cause its not really to much a change, I would rather see it something like.. 12x1hr PPT but a max on 1 or 2 hours of alliance PPT a day, no more no less.

Long as the updates/changes don't go radical I think its fine to update/change in main with the mindset that we remain open to tweaking as needed, if needed.

I would be happy with 5 to 30. If u add the phase going up.
and dont forget about the issue with alliance ppt.

I think the simplest and fairest solution would have been to remove them both or equally reduce:
Alliance Repair 480 per day -> 240
Alliance PPT 12 per week -> 6
or
Alliance Repair 480 per day -> 120
Alliance PPT 12 per week -> 4

I agree this is a great perception to take, and it certainly removes complications, however limitation for strike weapons is probably the best avenue to take (due to abuse from farmers), out of the two I like the bottom choice the best. +1 for a great suggestion

What about phasing? If you have 120 repairs a day and phase at every second repair, you'll have 60 turns of phasing coverage. 60 turns of phasing coverage on a day with 48 turns means a solid shield defending you from anyone who'd attack you. Simply have a few minor players provide rota cover fire and hit you with low strikes, phasing you continuously without you taking damage (and whatever damage you take, is repaired by the AR) .. can be invincible.
At 50 AR per day, at least you won't be able to last the whole day relying on AR and phasing.

= more than 1 alliance repair per turn
Only takes 1 alliance repair to block a massing and make someone phase before they are massed
= NOTHING HAS CHANGED AND WHOLE UPDATE POINTLESS
I thought this update was meant to bring back massing so all players can fight not just the few highest coverts sabbing everyone else, guess I was wrong

What about the teamwork we all miss from before alliance repairs/PPTs when several people attack all at once and take down an alliance, multiple simultaneous massings can all be blocked in one alliance repair.
Maybe it's just nostalgia but I want the game as it was before alliance repairs/PPTs, when a team of several real players couldnt be blocked by any noob on an alliance function rota.

I don't dismiss that thought, but remember those days 1 noob could take down an entire alliance himself
