Seriously though, the idea of weapons degredation actually makes some sense.
Having too much of one thing could be nice to have a draw back, for example, maintenance cost.

Seriously, I'm on no-one's side here. I didn't even know Feri had such an account before I read this thread, nor did I care. Me considering Feri as a friend also has got nothing to do with it, but do you guys all realize what you're demanding? Essentially you are demanding for the whole game to be changed just so you can hurt one specific player. Kinda selfish, don't you think?
Besides whining for updates is the thing lead to him being practically unmassable in the first place, whining for more updates will just lead to more and more whining within 2 months after the updates are in place..
Also the plague limit - I don't know who has the top army and what it's at, nor do I care, but the fact remains that it takes time and effort to get even near to the plague limit, increasing it (yet again) is only going to lead to more people that put an effort into building big army sizes to be royally screwed yet again, with people catching up to what they were building for a year or even more, in a matter of days. It's also going to lead into even bigger stats and naq devaluation etc, that's all it's going to lead to. Defences won't suddenly become massable because those that are over the plague limit are simply going to raid to get to increased raid limit, sell some UUs for naq to build bigger UP, raid again, and then climb to plague limit again and build even bigger defence and covert, again making them "unmassable". Honestly, army size limits work perfectly. I don't know how many of us are over 500 million army size but each and everyone of us has worked hard to get there, and it took time too. Anyone can reach that army size if they're willing to make an effort towards the achievement of this goal.
To punish someone just because he focuses on one strategy is no good either. There are a gazillion different tactics you can use, why punish someone who chose to go for the one with a giant defence or covert, why punish someone who chose purely as high income as possible, why punish anyone for that matter? If someone is able to build such a defence, for instance like Feri, someone is also able to build such a strike. Period. Purely defence strategy has it's own downsides as well - no units left for attack with which you can farm. Same goes for income tactic - your income gets stolen when you're off PPT, same goes for every tactic one might choose. It's pointless and downright stupid to punish someone even more.
Kinda funny people are so blunt to not see the pattern.. Whining --> updates --> more whining about the new updates after a certain period of time --> new updates --> somebody figures how to make full use of them while others can't figure a way to beat him so they whine all the time --> more updates, etc.
I've said it a million times and I'm gonna say it again - whining is what got y'all to this problem and you aren't going to solve it with more whining because it's just going to lead to new problems.
If it were up to me I'd say to change most of the game mechanics to what they were back in 07 or 08..
Just want to make myself clear too, this post isn't aimed at anyone specifically, heck some updates might even be needed but no-one wants updates which would actually restore balance, most of the people that whine for updates just want them to suit their needs and their accounts. That's the biggest problem of 'em all.. Until you "active players" realize you've gotta forget about your accounts and differences and come up with suggestions that would actually help whole game community the game will continue to go downhill. Selfishness is what got you and the game to this point, it's really funny how y'all can't see that.

Anything over 20 trill and few people can successfully mass it anyway, what with alliance repair and such. Most people cant mass nowadays, so the whole logic is flawed. I guess if someone wants to spend dollars to win then let them. It happens in real life... look at the USA, they spend more money on war than everyone else and smash up armies in smaller countries who have less to spend (Minus vietnam where they got a kicking).

All what I was talking about in meeting was minimum bank size and if I remember I wrote several times that Feri's defence is MASSABLE!
You guys in DDE complained a lot about my defence in past. Few on this forum, few on DDEs forum, few on MSN. You personaly wrote me something about limits, how this game is loosing credit by actions like my defence, covert lvl 38, etc. You was the first who bought lvl 39 and is now defending huge stats, huge lvls and huge army sizes far far behind plague, made by money mostly (no am not complaning about spending money, just am confused why you say A and week after The B is your option).
About 200T defences... hell who cares, the account is prety junky set
he can have 30T naq out, but how much in bank? He cant be massed like daily, but who cares... if he will use his strike to mass his account will be crippled until he replaces looses with USS wich costs $100 weekly
Now, all go for those stats, for once we can clean server from dirty pants
we will mass of all units, our farms will be dry and we can start from day 0.
JT, your leaving the game for more than year, maybe its time to do what you wrote soo many times. If theres someone who should get over Something, than it is You!
Trade cap some 270m
Raid cap some 402m
Plague cap some 536m
Fericide's size some 800m plus and keeps growing because the game alowes it

It all lies in team-work. The correct team can take down anything.
This is not to be feared, this is not to be taken as something that ruins the game. This is simply yet another challenge. Respect to feri for doing it.
The game would be horrible without challenges. This has happened many times before, I can recall quite a few players who have built crazy stats that caused people to whine coz they thought that player was untouchable. Each time they were proved wrong.

Go to the admin meeting and ask Jason that. I just roll with what ever happens.

Plague limit is auto-updated btw, taking in account top army sizes etc etc therefore the whole "reviewing due to game never resetting" argument is invalid.

Um plague was not auto-updating. It may be now, but it was not until very recently.
