Huh, that's weird, decca has revisited but not continued the discussion..... strange. :-k Guess it's not that much of an issue then.

i do apologise, clarkey, for not replying as soon as you would like. sadly, i had to spend the last few days writing up essays on how american greatness was built upon screwing over blacks, indians, women, etc. though, at least they did achieve greatness. canada did all the same evil stuff and didn't achieve anything.

i feel i should respond to those few individuals who have impugned my motives as less than noble. firstly, to clarkey.

1) decca has not returned to this thread to respond, surprising? No, because he had no intention of joining in this community anymore than he previously did in the first place until promoted to vote.

i would like to propose, clarkey, that perhaps abusing people who try to improve the 'community' isn't going to inspire other people to join the 'community'. fact is, i've always been a little on the shy side ever since that **Filtered** melissa teased me about my freckles in first grade. so sorry that i don't post every thought that crosses my mind on the forum.

and to malx - "judge not lest ye be judged". that's not me talking, that's winston churchill.

secondly, the question of who i wanted to vote for, which i'll guess you'll never find out since i can't vote (sorry ifrit), is hardly relevant. last time i voted for president, i don't remember the polling official asking who i voted for and then shooting me in my No Masking face because it wasn't gaddafi.
my motivations are irrelevant. what is relevant is that this system is flawed. sure, democracy isn't perfect. sure, the real world isn't perfect either (except for massachusetts, thanks to mit romney). doesn't mean that we give up.
and, i think that if the almighty god mod/s are in a good mood/s that the system can be reformed to allow more people to vote, which encourage people to get involved in the community. maybe... (shock horror) even more positions could become subjects of elections. i mean, if its good enough for the president of the united states, surely its good enough for mod of the galactic colloseum.

@juliette. 'nuff said.
@malx. judge not lest ye be judged. thats not me speaking, that's your lawd and saviour.
