Well, instead of judging before they start to play their role, I think it will be useful to give a feedback in the "mods feedback" subsection in a few months to see if they did well or not, wouldn't it?

not judging just wonderd why there mods it shouldn't be given out willy nilly..

Clarkey and RoKeT have been selected by the admins. You, mister user, have the right to trust said decisions and perhaps make reports on their actions as mods, good or bad. Do that and the forums will be a much better place.

forums will never be a better place with the amount of bias heads and the the actions going on.. game doesn't need more mods.. needs advertisement it's my thread so why can't it be locked.. if u want to carry on convo make ure own thread.

we've had this discussion as well see with history on the forums you'd know that this isn't your thread it's Jasons and Mod's and Admin very rarely close it at authors request

I must say I'm disappointed, but anyway..

I have been one of Clarkey's most vocal critics over the years, so I hope my assessment of the situation is at least somewhat fair. Before he became an admin, and before his now legendary episode, he was a general moderator. I, as the Global Mod responsible for that section, was his immediate superior. I always found him to be efficient, and to have a good grasp of the rules. If I had to make one criticism, it would have been that he was occasionally a big rigid. Not to the extent that it was a problem, however, and nowhere near as badly as some.

I don't think I would have made him a mod again, but perhaps that's just because of the extent to which he and I have conflicted at such a personal level. If he has calmed down, as he claims, and matured slightly, then I think he'll be quite good. It is a big 'if' though, and I hope he lives up to the faith the administration have placed in him.

Not necessarily, however just because the author asks and the topic is still ongoing, does not mean it will be closed.

you accuse the forum staff of bias but it seems pretty obvious that you are in fact the one being biased in regards to this situation. you've already made up your mind that clarkey and roket will not be suitable mods without giving them the opportunity to prove themselves.

i hope they made a copy of all the forum incase clarkey tries to delete the forum sections again

tbh, if you cared about who is a mod or not, you should have watched the apply to mod thread, davinci

but, I certainly understand what you are saying, reading your topic name in the new posts list made me go what the hell too. ;P

Though, I gotta say, a bit of controversey never hurt anyone ^_^
