I like this idea, it makes sense that our glory would bring us something other than ascention. Even if we had to reset our account I would be happy and may actually work towards rank. I want to keep my cheaper spy levels, but I want to be able to be able to stand up to a Living God. Look at the top ten, it's only people who have ascended. Not even Ghoul is up there right now, which makes me somewhat sad...
We don't want all of the bonuses, I could care less if I had 25% in all of the stats. I personally would prefer to choose my stats and shape them the way that I want them.
Make it like an Anubis ascension, half way there. More powerful, strong sense of technology, but not a true Living God. I think that this is a great idea, why do people need to bad mouth it so?

If you stay the same race you dotn need any bonuy because you safe all the costs of ascending. IF i still had all that i spen d on it. well lets say a 25 % increase to all stats woudl bbe nothing.
well i know how much ascension costs i'm co working on one ascension so i get full info on ascension
but this is simply idea for those that
don't wont to ascend, not for those who are on path of enlightment.
it is sugestion for making crossroad for each to choose after that point!
and as for increasment of all status for 25% and with ascended blessing i think it is to much sorry but that is my opinion, and yes multiple ascension is to cheap with all benefits that come, that is also my opinion.
but hey guys who wants to folow path of enlightment fell free,
but give others a chance to choose!

I just want a way to spend my G and R points.. Don't even care about how I get to, I'm not ascending right now. I have tons of G and R points....

so what do u say hwat those perks should be related?
to bonus race advantages or for unlocking new technology that would allow new weapons or both ?
should there be loosing some stuff on non ascended account or not?

to have chance to lower difference between ascended accounts, and to have chance of upgrading main account if u don't choose path of enlightment?

This whole idea sickens me and I stick by what Wolf has already said (among others) wholeheartedly. GnR points are for ascension, if you do not want to play ascension tough luck, it's your choice. Quit going on about how you want something special just because you have something you don't want to use for it's original purpose. You have a choice Bahamut (and others) if you choose not to ascend, you should not even be watching your ascension points build up.
The only thing i would suggest implementing is a button on your account which says "Flush my GnR down the swanny because I don't want to play ascension" once you hit that button your GnR disappears and ceases to accumulate, that way I don't have to read this rubbish.

Very harsh! I am all for this idea but have to agree with you on some points.
The thing that stops me wanting to ascend is the though of managing another account. Give me all the account resets and everything else ... just don't force another account on me.

well maybe i overreacted with addons to race base advantages (hm, no it wasn't overreacted)
but simply players should be allowed to choose!
to follow path of enlightment or to stay mortals.
for those that say when ascending u loose all.
well u loose, because, ascension was originally introduced as transforming from one plane of existance to other ( SG-1 ascension )
for those that say u loose to much!
well u should looese even more
because as it looks now all goa'ulds in show could ascend within few sec, not even to mention asgards( lol they wouldn' exist in show, if ascension was to be so easy)!

no, he's right. we should have the ability to choose to as/descend to another plane of existence. so we can have the ascended server and the damnation server.
