Cause its at not accepting by default, so if the update was implemented, and admin beta tested it before it was mentioned..... It could be a coincidence.
And frankly, if ETL asked admin when he realized what happened, the ppt was already activated and the market turn spent. As far as i know u cant get back MTs or such...

Right.. Jase should get his money back because the way I interept these rules the updates should have NOT been in place untill Dec 10th AKA the day the update was announced..

Untill then this should NOT have happened!!!

acctuly, i was reading that this thread started on the 6th and the new update was relesed on the 10, so in my opinion the $10 should be refunded

you have no proof it wasn't done before then just not put in an update there have been times before where forum has put that he may have forgotten something

its a DONATION

if you went and gave your £1 to someone to for poppy appeal and you generally get a poppy & pin... if he says oh I'm sorry we are out of poppies would you try to get your £1 back? you heartless people...

Jase has left & made roughly $280 from selling his account... so - the $10 and maybe call it 2 $50 SS's he has made $170

he doesn't care about the refund now... so this thread needs locking...

Indeed, and the fact that he has sold things that really do infact belong to admin in the first place, now leaves it at him owning Admin $280, but i don't suppose he will want to give that back now will he?

lol, you can't compare donating to a charity with donating to a game. And the whole reason people donate to the game is to get ingame bonuses....which were denied.

Dear oxfam I would like my £3 a month donation returned as in your adverts it was depicted that it would be used in buying fishing equipment for people to fish for a life time... but instead you used it for medical supplies...

Lore has already discussed the fact that this was used as a viable tactic earlier in the game....this has been used before. However, because it happens to ETL, the rules suddenly get changed within a few days....

And again you're comparing donating to a charity with donating to a game. They are completely different concepts. Heck, the only reason its called donating on here is because Jason would probably get into even worse copyright issues if he said buy.

All benefits are immediate.....there shouldn't have been a delay or an option to refuse the ppt donation at the time it was given....yet ETL admits to doing just that....I want to know how? Why is it that ETL seems to have been given different treatment to everyone else?

As for jase selling his acocunt thats becuase he has had enough of a game that is dictated by certain players... Again not saying anyone in particular..

The update was released Yesterday on Monday the 10th of December.. NOT anytime before.. Giving players certain knowledge just becuase they may know the admin is a bunch of BS..

The facts are this

1. There was no update when it was bought.. I never heard of anyone before that having to accept a PPT payment... I think Jenny was a victim of this a few weeks ago..

2. If an update has not been announced to the players how can you know about it and how can you call it legal... Its not about the 10 dollars anymore its about the treatment certain people seem to receive...

Knowing about and using an "update" before there actually is one is CHEATING as all the players do not know about it..

I didn't know about it and neither did anyone else I knew bar the player in question... I do not call that fair play it was all too coincidental and I call that abuse of the system..

well first of as someone else said you cant compare it to a charity, cause a charity is exacaly that its a charity
this isnt, this is donating for a game which when you donate you get the benifitys from it( plus with a charity its tax deductible were a donation on here isnt)

no because their has nothing saying you cant sell accounts and even in that case, he had to pay admin, then everyone who sold UU or NAQ for real cash would have to give it to admin, i think not,

and J.S i totaly agree its bigger than just $10 its about the fact that their was "insider trading" (if you dont know what it is please look it up to long to explain) which is totaly unfair, and ok admin may ov over looked the update but i think that would make it only fair that he was reimbursed because it was admins mistake for not makeing it public ( and possibly telling ELT ( and maybe others) about it before everyone else ( altho i kind of doubt he would of but their is noway to prove it))

once again i agree, it should of been a bit more descriptive, my main concern was the update was relesed ( well made known to the general public ) on the 10th of december and this topic came about before that

Can someone please bring this to Jasons attention - alot of players seem very upset by this yet not a word from etl or admin, it has been posted above why it would be wrong for ONE player to be able to use this when others have suffered by it in the past....... if the rules state benefits are recieved then they should be and nothing less..... everyone tryin to take the piss out of others shouldn't even bother, how bout lets try finding the truth so we can get on with it......

I too will be getting rid of m account if it turns out to be a buddy - buddy thing cause NO ONE in this game should get preferential treatment, eg i e-mailed admin along with my mate over 5 months ago to get an IP banning changed and still haven't heard back, yet other players can have stuff reversed in seconds....... yeah REAL FAIR.....

dont get me wrong I'm interested in finding out what actually happened...

but I'm just playing devils advocate and saying what could have happened as everyones jumping and saying Forum did it after...

donating is donating no matter if its charity of for a game... stop trying to say their are two definitions for donating... in this game you are given bonuses for it... i'm not denying that... I'm clearly pointing out when you donate something you cant ask for it back... he has said he doesn't want to back so stop going on about the $10...

and start going on about trying to find out when the update took place... also this is Forum's game and technically he can do what he likes...

yes some people appear to get things sorted quicker... but that it just the way of life... I got a reply with 3 hours when I had a problem with the private broker & buying SS for someone...

I haven't heard a damn thing about getting permissions to trade amongst real life friends with shared ip issues...
