A conference in Vancouver is not all that bad an idea, it is where the series is filmed.

Ok I leave for a couple of pages and now it's going to Vancouver :O But but...that means I can't go..waaaaa.
Though I'd love to visit the set
Somehow I think all of SGW converging on the set might cause security to have a heart attack..lol.

Yeah, they are having an identity crisis. Canada does not equal US.
We are still shooting for Orlando Florida on the 17th and 18th.
Try to get something going in Cali.

We could always meet at Epcot at Disney on the 17th when the park opens. If you get a 2 day park hopper pass we can do Disney for the weekend. 2day parkhopper passes are $177 online but it lets you go to all the parks. If you are military there is some discount and Florida residents are a lot cheaper.
Somehow we need to ID ourselves so we can find each other. The T-Shirt was an idea. Any suggestions are good. We could just do the SGW part.
March 17th and 18th

Epcot Center at opening on the 17th, 9am at FutureWorld just outside the main gate

universal islands of adventure is 100x better ><

I would go for Islands of Adventure, I put Disney since that was what most people mentioned. Islands has the Dueling Dragons coaster that I can't wait to get on.
We are going to be here for a week or so so we will hit all the parks. We can start anywhere.
So say what park you want to meet at. The 17th and 18th are set.

There are plenty of theme parks and through the company i work for i can get discounts with hotels and the parks.
so if anyone is interested, i can direct you to how to get the tickets at a lower rate. depending of course on where our final meeting point is decided.
the great thing about meeting in the disney/universal area is that we can go to pleasure island at night. under 18 can get in there as well as 18+. there are a bunch of clubs there and of course plenty of overpriced alcohol for us of age drinkers. if there are enough people who confirm that they will be coming, i will be willing to contact some of the hotel managers i know in the area and see about a group rate, therefore allowing us to just hang out at night together (besides drink cheaper).

Once a date is confirmed, I'll know for sure if i can make it. I'll be flying from NY. If anyone else will be flying from JFK, Laguardia or Newark, perhaps we can coordinate our flights so we can travel together?

Dowtown disney would be a great place to meet and do lunch and drinks. I work there and get a discount at the restraunts.
