thx, i dont know if ascending is worth all the UP and spy level upgrades.
at least you get PPT while your in your weaken state

If you plan everything in advance its not very hard to get most of your stuff back within the first PPT period.

i cant wait till i ascend does a little jig, anyone have any advice on the best race to pick or are they all just as good as one another

sad part :
your main account race is changed into a new race with - 10% percent in all areas(every race)
you can reascend 5 more times and u get 5% bonus in all areas-each time (offense,defence,covert,income) , so at the end you'll be normal again (much like a goa'uld)
also the new race you'll be transformed into has 2 tech for each area and much higher cost for weapons (3 times higher) and no race bonus.
so- if you're a replicator you'll lose 25% race bonus , 5% from tech bonus
and 10% from ascension.
- if you're a goa'uld u lose 35% income and 5% from banking (yes-no more free banking)
good part :
its fun to reascend over and over again each time bringing more ascension points into your ascended realm .

Your right there, you do only get 5% bonus, but that is per ascension and as for losing your old 25% race bonus, yes that is true but on your first ascension you get plus 5% to each stat, giving you an overall bonus of 20% however when you reascend just once you get 10% to each stat which is a overall bonus of 40% to your acount so you start to profit from being ascended from that time onwards. Also, the ascended weapons are far better for you, they may only be double the strength of a normal weapon and cost three times the amount but that means you only need 1/2 as many soldiers as a normal account does meaning less casulties and lees people needing to be trained leaving you with more uu to train into miners thus giving you a higher income. If you learn one thing from this thread let it be that ascension is worthwhile, but you need to be prepared to ascend at least twice to get the real benefits to your main account.

I think you have to ask a mod for that.

to get to the ascended forum u have to request the address from a mod or sumthin but provide ur account name for proof of ascention but i like da ascended home page its kool as ill post da link to it coz as far as i no its impossible to log into it without being ascended (i have tried) but it is http://www.ascended.stargatewars.com dont bother clicking da forum link there because its a link to this forum but if ur page opens with a big picture of a dude on fire click that image or click login to see other things

Only once? Dang... used my two changes on main to put a capital at the front of my name (an unhealthy ego boost), can't do it with just the one change... maybe if I ask Forum nicely he'll be kind enough to do it...

iam about to ascend and iam wondering how many ascension points is it good to have before you ascend? right now ive got 5515 ascension points will that be enough?
