You mean not work?

Eh?
No, even Marx put forth that government was necessary in communist nations.
In both socialist and communist countries, the government (once it is correctly shaped by revolution) is the only 'fair' and just force... to insure that all the little comrades don't force their other little comrades into the little factory they built in the public park, with the help of their special little comrade politzi.

-----------------
If you wish to roll with no government, then you are rolling into anarchist and libertarian philosophies, neither of which (that I am aware) have anything like externally implemented social-equality.

I think communism will be achieved in a few centuries, when people don't need to work and everything will be done by robots.

With a high technology level welfare can be achieved even when only 10% people work 1 hour a week and the others don't work at all.

Afterall robots can work 24 hours a day and wont get tired. All you need is repair or replace them when they stop working. This could be done by other robots.

Lol... wait a minute... that seems like the anti-thesis of communism.
It were the invention of 'machines' that set off Marx (among other things) this fear that industrialization would remove the labourer from any source of income.
That the vast majority of men would starve without a job because machines (the robots of old we might say) would displace them.

I think, if you look closer at robots, they appear less like the future savior and more like Engle's worst nightmare. Can you imagine how many job cuts the big industries could make? Long before any of those fired could buy themselves this new tech.

(I'm not arguing against robots, just a communist embrace of robots)
:)

Robots will bring benefit to the society and people. First of all more wealth will be present and second of all, if people become unemployed these will be huge masses and either way socialism and ultimately communism will be achieved.

The Rich will agree to give away their riches to share with the people, and if not, they huge masses of poor will take it. One way or another the world will become more equal.

I think it more likely that the poor would starve...
But yes, things would balance out somehow... there would still be poor and rich... It'd just be a class strugle between the Bourgeois and the uber Bourgeois. :P

You dont need to work. Of course not, but I dont think you will have many friends when they see that you parasite on them.
