Good point! Well then, keep asking a couple of times a day - especially when they've said they are working on it and that it won't happen overnight! We need the purpose of an online gaming forum redefined ASAP!
4 days.
Simply to define what I thought would be the small and easy to answer question.
What is 'appropiate' for SGW general.
4 days (and counting)

Anything SGW-related that doesn't belong in another forum.
If we, the mods, move it, it's because it belonged soemwhere else.
The definition of SGW General relies on the definition of the other sections, which aren't all that ambiguous
So, who's making such a big deal, eh?

Play with language to make yourself look better - you'll need it.

If it must be moved, it will be moved.
If you post everything in General in order to get at the mods, that's just being stupid.
The slippery slope is created by people who want to test limits.
As for a thread that has a basis in war, but isn't a war thread or serious, it sounds like a thread you'd make. That's pretty much it.
All I'm saying is that we made it for 2 years without this kind of "slippery slope." Maybe someone had fun trying to create one?
All in all, if a thread is NOT SPAM (and I wouldn't necessarily rely on your definition of spam) and it can fit in more than one place, then so be it. Let's not whine about it.

And what about the topics that fit both sections ?
A topic that has a basis in the war, but isnt a war thread, but isnt 100% serious either, but isnt intended as a spam thread ?
See the slippery slope pookie ?
It really looks like you're grasping at straws, Tokie~

Clueless admin, eh? I won't bother arguing with you, really. I am not the one making unfounded claims. Suffice to say that because you have a few legit threads, as shown by what you've linked to, does not mean that you do not spam and that you are justified in making new threads every 5 minutes.
That said, this post makes a point:

Why are you bumping this? It was answered...at least twice.
Flavar wrote:Here you go. I got an answer on my question in the mod forum:Sleipnir wrote:Anything related to SGW, that doesn't have a place in the rest of the forum.
War threads -> Colloseum
Gameplay questions -> Newbie forums
Alliance specific -> Recruit or general (this one's a bit fuzzy)
Most are pretty clear, and where not, it's up to the mods.
EDIT - And remember, spam is a great category for last resort
i hope that helps
