And you UK lot can band together and come in a pack.
Stick us all in a box, wrapped in cotton wool caked in sun tan lotion, we'll be super.

I would love to come, but I live in Melbourne and probably wouldn't be able to get there. Maybe in 2 years if I'm still playing, I would come.

Date? Final date?
I'm in Melbourne and I hate organising at the last second. My work hates it as well.
Since no date is going to suit everyone just pick one and leave it decided to be that date. Because if there is something else on in Brisbane at the same time then we do need to be able to get in and book early.

Well as the last few posts regarding dates have agreed Saturday the 28th of July and the days directly before and after are the dates that we are currently going on.

I will try to do some booking this weekend then though it's amusing that it's gone from a few days to one day.
Is there anywhere recommended for us out of towners to look at when booking places to stay?

The Deity wrote:Ah the Rendezvous is dead opposite the Central Train station so that could prove usefull. Unlike Melbourne, Brissy has a train that leaves from the Airport and into the main train feed. You can get from the Terminal and into the city in about 30 minutes for $15.
And it was just the Saturday weekend that we gave the date for, it will be for a few days but as Sue mentioned she wanted most of it done on the one day just like the Melbourne one that you attended last.

For those who cannot make the Brisbane one, due to funds or just due to the fact its too far away and they have commitments; I will be organizing another Melbourne Meet-up much like the last one.
Hopefully the old group can come back and with any luck, we will get some fresh blood.
I will post more about it when ~I return to the homeland, the wonderful land of Australia.
Oh how I miss thee and thine fresh produce...

With the other Melbourne one, at least make sure that it's for all ages this time. There are a lot more peoples who may have come it hadn't of been restricted.
Booking soon for QLD, so am I booking for one day - Saturday or others as well?

next melbourne one will be all ages until we get to the club again, and then you will have to be 18 bto get itn. thats the law.
anyway, it will be in a few months and so we have plenty of time to ponder it.

That's fine Nuto, the people I know where just annoyed that they couldn't come at all last time. Although one may have turned 18 in the mean time, I'm not sure.
@Balor - owe! not going?
