What if a human does not have the ability to explain it (brain problems) does he/she still have a right to live?

He was speaking in a general sense of all of humanity and all of deer (deerdom... lol?).

Lol I know that, but there are monkeys that are smarter than my sister. Do I think she should live? Well duh.... Humans are the most advanced animal, but we are still animals. Other animals might not have a big brain, but they can do other things better than us.

They (animals) still do not have the ability to think abstractly, reason, or think logically, they only think based on instinct and stimuli with very little forward thinking (if at all).

And again, humanity as a whole is still the smartest, there are exceptions, but diseases and disabilities do not make the population as a whole less smart.

And actually, we are not the most 'advanced' animal in terms of evolution. We are however smartest, most technological (monkeys don't have iPods :P)

The number 3

That is all i need to know to know what differentiates humans from animals...

Abstract thought is what makes the difference, o and i wear pants, but thats neither here nor there...

I enjoy the taste of meat, and will continue to eat it, but if you guys choose not to YAY for you that makes another difference between animals and humans, we choose what we consume... Animals eat what ever is available to them, even if it is poisonous some deer have been known to eat lichen during times of drought that event6ually kills them slowly and painfully...

you know even apes eat and kill monekys...somehow the idea of eating animals as unatrual doesn't really fit our species. I'm also ina very liberal enviromental class right now. My teacher says that humans can't be classified as animals because we have a complex social order and thought process, and as such cannot be classified as animals are. We are to highly evolved to care for the animals we raised for food. And have raised as food for 10,000 years.

We are not the only species that has a complex social order. Look at elephants and dolphins. There are some theories that dolphins are a more advanced species altogether. Technology does not greatness make!

Elephants actually go into depression when a member of their family dies. They even cry!

Just cause we do not understand somethings does not make them important. I cannot understand calculus, yet it still is important.

Dolphins auctually have a language of their own. Not like other animals, but like us.

Understandable. There are a few species that are at or beyond our level. We do not eat them howerve. We eat Pig, Cow, chicken, fish. Insignificant genetic abnormalities, that without or patronage and dining styles would have died out long ago. Cows are slow and tasty. Without humans they would have been wiped out long ago. We reserve their right to existance, and can cancel the contract as w see fit. if the ultimate desitination is a plate at Outback Steak House, so be it.

One last thing though, if a vegan can eat the right things and have enough nurtrients in their system(which is possible) what is wrong with being vegan? I mean, once you go meatless, it is hard to go back, so telling us to eat meat is useless.

Idk, meat tastes good. A tofu burger is no competition for a whopper. I would rather have a burger than a salad, but I give up my pleasure. If I feel like eating meat I just google a slaughter house video then I no longer have a craving for meat. There is not much to eat at most fast food places either, and if you are with friends you will look weird since there is almost nothing vegetarian. Then everyone asks if it is for health or animal rights reasons that you do not eat meat. If you answer health then people accept that, but if you say animal rights a debate usually follows :P If you are a vegan, you basically have to make all of your food since most food has some dairy products in it.

you maybe. I could never give up meat. If it was healthy, I'd be a strict carnivore.

You would be surprised at how easy it is to stay away from meat after you start. Oh and I had a fake steak the other day and it tasted darn good!

Some vegetarian meat is good such as some stuff by the company Morning Star, I like their "chicken" nuggets and patties.

Abortion, Genocide, War, disease, etc. These are what keep our population under control we dont need to hunt each other.

However I do agree the human population needs a cap, india and china are growing far to fast.
