Urm, yeah. Um, about that. Let's see, in order to keep this thread from being completely derailed, this needs to somehow relate to The Legion.

I hereby accuse Weirdy from TL of being an Roman anime-lovin' goat herder and doing high-pitched voice overs for some of the nubile girls in Hentai productions. This opportunity in film was made possible due primarily to a college frat prank involving an obscene amount of alcohol, a paper shredder, and a can of whipping cream.

Genetics played a small role as well, pun intended.

The ammount of judgmentalism based uppon lack of understanding of the world is staggering...

Speaking of hentai... there happens to quite a strict ban on "live action" porn in japan. A ban that however failed to incorporate comics. Ergo the appearance and subsequent "cult popularity" of hentai... While you "service yourself" to american production flicks about schoolgirls/babysitters (prolly numbering in the hundreds) and Hug`s (and others) "barely legal" magasines they are forced to "improvise", shall we say... Offensive lol... arguably there is no society more decadent in history than the westrn one is atm and you`re going sanctimonious on one of the most tight up ones of the bunch heh...

Here`s another dirty little secret... there is life on other continets aswell... general knowledge>silly prejudices. understand>blow up/generalise and then badmouth.

I am not prejudiced against the Japanese in general. I find some of their customs offensive, their treatment of women as second-class citizens unacceptable, and some of the "delicacies" they have that help promote the depression of rare or endangered species irresponsible. They are not the only culture, American included, that have such behaviors.

I do find Hentai and American porn that sensationalizes underage girls offensive. This isn't a Japanese phenomenon, as you correctly point out. There is a gradual and dangerous eroding of the sanctity and innocence of youth going on all over the world and I will lash out verbally and politically at any such endeavor.

I don't consider it sanctimonious to take a stand against actions going on in the world that you feel are wrong. Sometimes, you have to take what you perceive is higher moral ground to right injustice.

and i completely agree with robinindahood. when I first found out what hentai is, I was shocked beyond words. Of all the things one can do with their free time...
