Its real simple, if you make it that MS and Planets get lost in ascension NO ONE will ascend,

or perhaps the only people who will ascend are those concerned about their ascended account or really want those fancy titles

i am all for losing planet as long as the MS goes. but people who gave up on ascended and started building large MS are being rewarded again for being lazy in ascended as they can ascend with no losses in terms of MS. so the guys with MS in the 250 billion power range get another free pass to keep them ahead of the smaller guys because you will never catch them in terms of MS because the MS will never be lost.

good you acknowledge your God. some real bull crap that the big guys are crying saying "i cannot ascend again because my MS is too powerful." well not like they did not know that when building it why all the sudden say okay you can keep your MS and ascended losing nothing really now. how is this a good update? keeping MS= destroying 2 servers.

enlighten me as to how my facts (which really appear to be opinions but maybe you do not know sarcasm) are wrong

I'm not a big fan of this update at all.

Most big players have the ego to go for all the ascensions; theres a degree of pride, honour and awesomeness to be an Ancient God.

However, people were reluctant if they built HUGE MS to ascend or vice versa. It made it possible for people to build Motherships that could compete with the larger players MS. Unfortunately, investing in MS is one way. You invest BIG because you'll never lose it.

With that in mind, theres no resetting mechanism that would allow other players to eventually catch up if the player decides to ascend and lose it all.

guys have any of you thought about how much naq will be put into these beasts to get into the top 200 range you will need about a trill give or take a few bil to even get close within two months or so

try a bit more than a trill in two months or so mate...

my MS is worth 1.64 tril and is only ranked 217 NOW, in 2 months if i dont upgrade it which is my next task it would probably be ranked ~300.

what i was trying to say but thanks for saying it better and i agree completely. now impossible to catch if not lost during ascensions.

I have a single ascension and a mothership ranked in the top 20, ahead of most of the Ancient Gods and Living Gods who played the game for a long time before me. It is most certainly possible for smaller players to catch up with the big players.

would you ascend again knowing you would lose your MS? also those guys playing for a while had the disadvantage of always losing their MS after ascension.

no but in the old system you would and you would the strength of MS would reset themselves as people ascended and with ascension being profitable again people would have to sacrifice their MS and this would help the smaller account have a chance catch up.

A good point and the short answer is: I don't know. Maybe. Certainly not with the app->lf conversion rate at the previous value of 33. With the new 1250+, maybe.

The guys who knew they were going to lose their mothership in an ascension didn't build it very high, I suspect. If they did, knowing they would lose it, and then lost it, I have no sympathy. They knew the rules, played by them, and made their choice.

heh, ok. However, I suspect your MS is stronger than mine. I'll do it after dinner tonight, an hour or so.
