Same happened to me, and I was completely justified. Anyone even asking about it got banned, and I was banned for quite a while. Some things are just ridiculous.

4. Destruction of atmosphere
5. The object of innumberable complaints on the part of many members and moderators
6. Racism
7. Publicly posted the IP of a member.
Sorry Jamie, but I wish you hadn't brought this up... or did Tok'ra pay you to do it with multi-verse stuff? Honestly I'm hurt you're sticking up for him after the crap he pulled with me.
As for the rest of you sticking up for Tok'ra, you can just shove it!

Hmm, very interesting, I think tok'ra could learn to better control his opinions... say what must be said yes but not spam it everywhere continuosly.
I do not think he should be banned from the forums however... Especially while the forums are being overhauled.

It's not the person it's the principle of the Bannings without a reason or for stupid ridicilious reasons. The points you have there are valid, but I don't know maybe im the forgiving trusting type..
But on the priniciple of it I mean whats to stop someone becoming a global mod/admin and then banning everyone in an enemy alliance just becuase they don't like them?
There should be reasons that people be banned.. Don't feel hurt mate and I'm sorry if you do but I'm standing up for the principle of it.. I would rather not see this place being turned into a whoever is a mod or whoever is friends with a mod can do whatever the hell they like..
And I wouldn't get paid anything to post something.. I'd mass someone if they paid me to do something

It's funny really J.S, you actually quoted a post giving reasons why he was banned, then go on to whine that you don't agree with the principle of banning with no reason. Umm, earth to planet J.S, there was EVERY reason to ban him, he THOROUGHLY deserved his banning, in fact he went WAY, WAY over the top rubbing the fact he was ban evading in which is partly why the mods got so fed up with him.
He's actually been banned since about 8 months ago, just no one stepped up to enforce it FULLY until Forum did.
He broke pretty much every rule, got banned, evaded that banning, broke the rules incessantly, kept getting banned and kept evading, in the end there was no other choice except a perma-ban. Quite frankly it should have been done months ago and he should also have had his accounts deleted, but better late than never and he's lucky Forum is a reasonable guy and didn't delete his accounts aswell.
But hey, you live in that special J.S world, so i'm sure you won't bother reading anything i've said just like you didn't read what you quoted in the last post, lol.

Oppressed by what? Well, don't think I'm above being affected by anything that happens here; I'm not "sweeping things under the rug" like Tok`ra would have everyone believe. There are things that are meant to be known and others that aren't, and it's when you know more than you'd like from all illusions of sides, lies and truths alike, that you would feel sick to the stomach as I did and do.
Of course there are problems and concerns in life and everywhere therein, such as in this forum. Nothing is perfect, and I certainly don't pretend to be, but it's when I come to this place, accused of being corrupt and full of myself because of the power I supposedly have that a real problem is made... I stop giving a crap about this place because it's a waste of time to come here just to read the words of vindictive folk.

You can't suggest two things that Tok`ra may or may not do and say therefore he has NOTHING in common with the guy.
He was about freedom of speach and using it to speak out about a failed system. He was arrested an jailed for many years. Tok`ra is no Mandella but he has things in common.

Tok`ra contributed with quite a bit of thought.
His complaints were hardly random, infact I remember a few posts in which he defended the mods. I also remember at least one thread in which he had a lenghty and civil discussion with a moderator over the issues, and ways to fix them (of course, all evidence of that is gone unless I find the thread again, and only if the mod quoted Tok`ra anywere)
Even worse, just before you delted his fourm account, he had PMd pookie with an offer to help fix the fourms.
I wonder if THAT had something to do with the deletion .........
So either the fourm administrator (pookie) asked you to do a hatchet job on a fourm user, or you did it on your own due to several of his posts annoying you.
So youre either easily lied to, or are a liar.

Are you being deliberately stupid Judochop? You do know Tok'Ra has multiple forum accounts and has been posting for the better part of a year. Just because he made a new forum account to get around his latest banning it doesn't mean his previous posting history is going to be ignored by the staff. Yes, you heard me, his LATEST forum account, to get around YET ANOTHER banning.
As for you smoosh then tbh if you are still holding him up as some sort of free speech pariah then i'll just say good luck to you, because if you actually believe that you're gonna need it.
I don't care what some putz has done for his PHD, it doesn't change the fact that Tok'Ra is a grade A moron and got what he deserved. You seem to be saying that someone can post whatever they want, break all the rules, get banned, evade that banning multiple times, gloat about said ban evasion, constantly insult the staff, the game admins, and yet no one should do anything about it at all...Umm, No, as i said before, good riddence to bad rubbish, he broke the forum rules on multiple occassions, his banning was wayyyyyy overdue and for some strange reason there are still a few tools who think it wasn't justified.
Perhaps you can tell us all what WOULD justify a banning in your opinion? I mean, obviously you don't think that breaking every single rule isn't enough...
You might aswell say "he's my mate" as a reason for not banning him, because that at least i could understand.
