yea how many of u remembers no1 alliance elusive forces? with god knows how many members at some point they had over 200 i think, but in very early stage of game

LOL it was sort of Dark's vengeance but with strong players on top, if I remember right: ELUSIVE, Ghoul, Jaxin, ESKER, and the guy who had an indian in his animate sig (who was it??)...and they after made AA beta to put there all newbs and stay in their elite alliance

But I guess there is some agreement, so its not all lame..

I'd say the people who are most renowned would be the people who:
- everyone is scared of getting on their bad side (lots of massings, lots of influence, etc)
- everyone knows (forum loud-mouth, forum figure who is respected, etc)
- probably more but I can't think of at the moment

Of these 2 conditions, there are too many to count. So I propose the ultimate measuring tool: FOLLOWERS!!!

I rekon the most renowned are the players who could get the most SGW people to join an alliance with them, or do stuff for them, or whatever. In this regard, i'd pick people like:
- STI (yea well, he's pretty much the most powerful player. I don't know any other players really that got an alliance made just for their temporary retirement )
- Teal'auc (when I found an SGW wiki, she was like listed, being the most massed >_>)
- Bill (he a big forum personality in his time)

I don't want to list any more, cos where do you draw the line. I draw it here, to give an idea.

I think STI has won that already when he created his alliance he had quite a few people join it
