Rough, lots a good sigs :/
Here my 2 sigs, tried animation for my first time

Haha, I'm a noob sig maker, but im trying and slowing getting better jsut started last month.

That's alright. The only way to learn is by practising. Trying to learn without practising is like believing in God without acknowledging the lack of empirical evidence: It's just stupid.

Alright, my technical difficulties have been fixed. It took me 20 minutes to pin down the problem. Just to let you all know, if you don't already know this, photobucket now limits how large your images can be. You can make them pretty large if you've purchased a membership, but otherwise they're small (which makes photobucket compeltely useless for anybody who doesn't want to pay except for sig makers). If you exceed the size limit then they will shrink your image to make it fit. If your image is a little too large then when the image is resized your image becomes skewed, blurred, and of a lower quality/resolution.

Anyways, here's a sig for you. Several, actually. One's another house sig that's close but with a different render of house (I couldn't resist - I'm making a third, too, but it will go in my shop). These are my final entries.

I am withdrawing the original house sig; it is now my own personal sig. If you happen to reeaaaaally want it then we can work something out, but for now it's removed from this contest.

ok the list is long but dont worry I will narrow it down these are the sigs that made it to the finalist round im gonna post what I like/dislike under each siggy in a spoiler to make it nicer and so you guys can focus I ask that the artists dont read Spoilers that do not pertain to them and remember I picked the ones I liked best so far from each contestant if you feel that whatever one you are working on is better post it remember this doesnt close until March 25th



[spoiler]The colours on this are absolutely perfect and the way he blends into the background as though he is a part of it are wonderful but it just lacks that spark to draw ones eyes towards it overall an excellent made sig[/spoiler]

[spoiler]the clip is excellent although a bit to fast the colours match the idea perfectly the text is just lacking a stand out character[/spoiler]

[spoiler]yummy a Soulless siggy, ok the colours on this sig made it really catch my eye just the darker shades and the objects inside however it doesnt appear to transition well from one side to the other[/spoiler]

[spoiler]not much bad to say about this sig except it caught my eye and then let it go it works extremely well overall the colours and object are awesome[/spoiler]

[spoiler]the clip is a little short though I love the idea of having Vader rise in his suit and it matches the Evil doesnt die motto nicely however the text seems to just be pressed into it and doesnt really stand noticeably[/spoiler]

[spoiler]not much bad to say on this one except the "glare" is a little large but the text has excellent character as well as the leader having a bunch of faceless but present soldiers is a nice touch[/spoiler]

[spoiler]you really hit the mark with this sig since my favorite Sith is Maul although Vader was the most badass im not sure what its missing just seems something should be there that isnt[/spoiler]

[spoiler]This was rendered beautifully even the trooper being taken apart into the background only thing I ask is where is the text I asked for gonna go [/spoiler]

[spoiler]SS you did a magnificent job on this sig I was extremely impressed with your design it just captures the motto and the colours are near perfect in comparison to the object not much to say for improvements[/spoiler]

[spoiler]Trident this sig really captured what I had in mind in terms of vampires however the text is a little hard to read as I said im not sure what you meant about the pdf file etc.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]yummy the dark yoda good yoda comparison was a huge draw in and definitely caught my attention however the text lacks character and thats one of my big pet peeves for some reason so work with the text[/spoiler]

[spoiler]I thought this was a nicely sinister sig and the thought of world domination came to mind instantly just the middle of the sig seems to be lacking substance otherwise very nicely done[/spoiler]

The PSD... it's what permits me to go back into the layers...

Unfortunately, my Computer has had it's long coming crash... 7 years old... so i won't be doing much of anything in regards to sigs for a while.

damn TK...... is it a software issue?

On a side note, i would like to thank everyone involved into this competiton.
This is what we need, to improve ourselves and our tehniques. I just wish there would be more competitons like this...

... well...... other than mah award sigs........ still trying to figure out if all participants got theirs etc.... but thats another story....

I'm fixing up the wolverine sig right now, but have a look at this for now.



EDIT:

K, well, here's the wolverine sig. I can add more text if you want but IMO it will ruin the appearance (too much text is a sin in the GFX world, where I come from lol - that's why I didn't add it all), but I can add it if you want it. I think I've made it more appealign but we'll see what you think

Added something, But might need to change the text. I should do some Tutorials when my ISP fix's my net lol

I agree, this competition has been great...

@nightmare, it appears to be a Hardware Problem.
