Any more suggestions for next week's theme?

Am stick with mine which is Easter, but here are a few others. Vector, Certain Render (Everyone uses the same render or the same image that has been posted), Vertical, Photomanip, Video Games, Band/Singers.

I'm thinking about easter but not all entrants are catholic

Indeed... I`m not catholic... but if this will be the theme, then i have no objections. However, i agree with the post above yours.

well, here's my list of suggestions for the next theme:

- Easter (already mentioned)
- Vector
- Movie/Game (probably set a year scale)
- Collaboration
- Abstract
- Same Render/Stock
- No c4d's
- Sprite
- Typography
- Pentool
- Upcoming events
- Music
- Marvel

etc. there are many more i could list, but that would take too long and i can't be bothered at the moment.

meh il edit it with more later, the limit to how much brain usage i have on a saturday has been reached

Sci Fi (doesnt matter what show or movie)
Cars
Marvel Comics hero's
Landscape (anything of course from mountains to lakes)
Anime
Country related (like someone from the US making smt with the Statue of Liberty and someone from China doing the great wall, anything specific to a certain country)

Thats all i can think of atm

well im not catholic either but i find myself (and a large percentage of the secular population) observing the holiday, taking part, chocolate eggs and so forth.

i celebrate easter being a christian so i understand the symbolism of the eggs etc, whereas the secular population probably doesnt either...

i think it doesnt matter really, between easter and christmas (both christian/similar denomination holidays) people still take part and or observe the holiday...[/spoiler]

and to expand on the cars genre, we could do something to celebrate the Melbourne Formula 1 Grand Prix (this time a twilight race), and do a F1 related sig? maybe do an individual team? i has some ideas already

and photography sure, maybe not specifically your own photography, but maybe aslong as you credit the photo(s) used accordingly or just have permission of the photographer. i have some photos from my trip to Sydney i can use....

From experience car sigs aren't the best looking sigs, which is what we are trying to acheive with this. They just fill up too much space.

Collabs is a definate no from me, it could result in unfair pairings of either two noobs, or two (near)pros

I agree Easter would be a good theme.

cjl is right, car sigs don't exactly work

i'd go with things like

-vector
-simplistic
-no brushes
-smudge
-abstract
-specific render/character
etc

but i would go with easter for this one =d

i didnt talk specifically of a car, i only mentioned something to "celebrate the Melbourne Formula 1 Grand Prix", this could be down to a stylised team siggy (possibly with the team drivers or whatever), i never actually specified that it had to be a car in it..... heck, grid girls might be in order? (and if its hard to work with cars for sigs, isnt that just a challenge that can be worked with?)

maybe if we just do a major sporting event, superbowl, any number of the 'insert country here' open's (tennis)..... etc etc..... or whatever other major sport event.....
