I didn't really take it as an offense, but there are more "obvious" examples to use about me. hmmm.... now.. let me say this slowly. Many of the truth's we cling to depend greatly on our own points of view. To me... the one I listed was the most obvious.. none of the above. Not the multies.. certainly not the arguing or spamming.

Sticking a forum related title at either end and then putting any old chimpanzee poo'ed mound in the middle is just as out there as using a list of ships.

@ Jack. I removed most of the USAF ranks on purpose.. because it's meant to be more light-hearted and focused on SG. Half those ranks never had any relevance in the SG universe and are not necessary. On top of that... where as the primary cast did use USAF ranks we have seen examples of British, Canadian and Russian ranks used so I wanted to make sure most of the ranks used were also incorporated into their armed forces.

I still think either one of the more bland, neutral list's.. or the SG focused USAF ranks will be good, if not them.. then the ascension titles...

I love these titles i want them so much but i want to be a shrimp

And I agree this is forums, not ingame. Added to that jason has much removed the SG side of it, and allows any race/type/variant, I think the ranks should reflect that.

we started with those titles that had the most users on them...

suggestions are welcome for stargatey titles...

we have yet to see any suggestions that arent forcibly linked to a single race, or not at all stargate-themed...

how do you think an replicator player would react to the title system lord, or I.O.A member?

we know how people have reacted to the less-thought-out titles so far ("order of the ori" and such...), so it wouldnt work well with those... same can be said for military titles... an system lord would hate any air force rank...

well you can't have the mixed ones you have right now.. they're worse than any of the above.

So why not just stick to the other suggested ones.. there are at least five suggested set's that are neutral.
