So I should warn Jack and McRandom?
Is that what you are saying?
Jack for posting the screenshot and Mc Random for posting it for a second time?
Do me a favour, and stop comparing oranges to apples. It hurts my head.

back to my point
frankly, jack should not be warned for posting that, but it is nice to know that finely people other than a few of us are taking notice of this MASKING issueso flak ok not ok ?
from the US supreme court(for what it's worth):
"Obscene" speech is "unprotected" speech as ruled by the Supreme Court. "Unprotected speech," means speech that does not enjoy First Amendment protection and may even be criminal to express.
Justice Potter Stewart said:
"I shall not today attempt further to define the kinds of material I understand to be embraced . . . but I know it when I see it . . . "
Responding while risking going on a sidetrack... but anyways...
US amendments are not international law. As an example of how it CAN be interprented it is fine, but no more then that
@ Deni: I am not saying you need to warn both, but they should be equally treated - which isn't done.

It is not?
How so?
Mc Random was NOT warned for posting the screenshot in the topic
discussing masking.
So if you want them BOTH equally treated, I should either warn them both or warn none of them. Right?

it would be highly impractical to discuss rules if we had to warn each other each time an example of a rule violation is shown...

OK my bad... I need some sleep it seems
Apologies Deni, I just checked back the screenshot of Jack, and not enough sleeps seems to mess with my brain

Edit: and yes, you're right. But doesn't matter, since I was totally confused

Well I asked you to get the entire picture before making any judgements, it did not do so and now seem to be drawing at straws to get me in trouble.

It just seems to me that the line between what is right and what is wrong on this forum has been crossed so many times that there is no line anymore, and most users are unsure why they got a warning for something they thought was acceptable, how are the users in this forum expect to uphold the rules if the line that was once there is just a dirty smudge now, It never used to be like this.
And it seems no one wants to step up to the plate and change it, It'll be a big job and that scares most people away(Me included) But in the meantime everyone needs to stop arguing and try to figure out where its all gone wrong and fix it. ~T~

Question
Do the rules allow me to see my own user notes ?
and where can i see that part of the rules (section) ?

Well it's actually not in the rules at all and you'd have to ask either Zeratul or Mordack.

as far as we know, you cant...
there's nothing all that interesting there anyways... it lists warnings and such, name changes, when a password was changed (but fortunately not what it was or became) and those things... nothing all that interesting...

I can't believe someone is seriously suggesting that anybody who uses masking in an ombudsman discussion, or an example thread, deserves to be warned. What about when the mods discuss additions to the world filter in our section? Should we all be warning each other constantly throughout? As Zeratul has wisely said, it would be impractical beyond belief.

To be honest i think its a ridiculus rule to be able to post anything that is a warnable offense in all other parts of the forum in here, wether discussing it or not, at the very least it should only be discussed and seen by the parties involved, The whole point of these words, images etc being warnable is because this is a family orientated forum and not suitable for young eyes, Everyone can see the ombudsman section so what makes it different to the rest of the forum just because your discussing it? Its still seen by the people that the rule is in place to protect. ~T~
