Each day there are over 80,000 commercial passenger flights over the US alone. Over the last 11 years, there has been less than 10 flights in the U.S. attacked by terrorists. Incase you weren't counting, that's 10 out of 321,200,000 flights.

Besides, as KMA has already stated, as well as pretty much everyone(even the TSA), the scanners would have stopped precisely zero of those attacks.

Interesting thing would be to know how many terrorist attempts were prevented thanks to scanners or other tools of that kind.

Right, the scanners that were introduced in the ass end of last year scared away potential terrorists for the last 11 years. Image

You go on and be skeptical, but I see no data to prove me wrong.

terrorism only came from humans being power hungry and incontroll so now we are paying the price and it will soon be higher.

None of what i said in the first paragraph was my opinion, it's fact as jack has explained to you.

I also remember reading an article somewhere about the TSA checking one of the scanners and it failed to find a hidden gun (could have been a knife) on a TSA agent...i've just come back from martial arts and i am knackered, i'll see if i can find it tomorrow.

Edit:

Found it: http://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/TSA-Ag ... 97568.html

Use the Hyperlinks for the sources:

How safe do you feel now after reading those article!?!

I could go on forever listing sources to show that these "terrorists" are nothing more than assets for the worlds intelligence communities, but that should be enough for any person to start their own investigation.

@~Da Vinci~

You was the one that made the argument that you felt safe, i provided evidence which proves beyond doubt that what you said is a fallacy and you are no safer with these scanners than without-and you accuse me of being embarrassed? :? :? :? :? :? :? :?

Methinks you have no clue what you are talking about...unless you care to try and prove me wrong?

u don't want to be seen then don't go to the airport go fly with ryan air there probs show u how to make a bomb on the plane.... yes they can do all that but it should be just the neck down so you can't see the face? that way u just got a naked body which is not as bad.

You're not making any sense whatsoever :? first you talk about safety and that we need these machines to keep us safe, now you're talking about fashion statements and flying Ryan air so we can learn to make bombs...

The word Gobbledygook comes to mind.

And just in case you don't know what that means:
