It still should not be any bonus at all, admin has lost the plot if he does this.

going on the previous post, it should be more like

1. attack house = +10% attack but -30% to mothership

We all know that unless something is done about the way massing works defenses are useless anyway, defend it all you want you know its true.

2. defense house = +20% defense but -30% to income

Why have a free 1/5 bonus to defense and keep the income too.

3. covert house = +30% to covert/anti covert but -30% to defense

With that free 1/3 boost to covert you wont need that big defense as no one can see you

4. (if you really must) 10% boost to MS, but - 20% attack/defense and UP.



I still think this bonus crap will be the worst update to hit main, no update would be better than this, hopefully admin will see sense.

ALSO while your at it, could you maybe link ascended and main properly, so if you vac mode in 1 you vac mode in the other, getting real pissed off with being farmed by snipers who have nothing to hit back, who are on vac mode in main, or who are in perg in main, ( see other posts ) stop handing the game to the snipers.

I remember Bad Wolf asking what happened with the smaller alliances...why hiding in Empires?

I say this idea (Houses) encourages it. The alliances who already are with an Empire will stay. For example:

DDE + some daugtheralliances...who is gonna challenge REK or deni as an allianceleader? Lets say no one. If we all join that house for a bonus, you will keep it forever untill it changes house.

Whats in it for the smaller alliances? The ones NOT in an empire? This idea actually forms empires I say.

You said it yourself: In simplest terms, it can be viewed as an alliance of alliances.

I also say dont use the words house of covert or such. Why not stick with the raceterms? Or does it have to be linked to the "god" I worship?

My thoughts too...
If the 'houses' become 'alliance of alliances' (aka empires) where the leader can kick an alliance, you'll see that FUALL takes 1-2 houses, that the former TTF takes 1-2 houses and that the remainder of the game won't have any houses left.... so yeah, right Jason :/ NOT a good idea.
Also, the bonuses will crash this game even more

Instead of raising the minimum AT needed to attack people (and thus removing a cheap way of probing people once you've burned through your covert) why not just take the max nox timer, double or triple it, and put it on 1 AT attacks...

That way a person would have to work forever to 1 AT another person but at the same time you let people keep the ability to "cheaply" probe others without the serious consquences that hitting them with 3-15 AT brings

You could even add another button to the three we have already to represent the 1 AT "probe".

probably its a bad idea to be able to kick alliances.

Each alliance leader should be able to join any house , for a period of min 10 days.After 10 days he can quit or change house.
Each change should cost 200bil of alliance naq except first time he joins which would be free.

well i like to know what is going on with my covert/anticovert power some how

i am only get 4 and 16 trill while at lvl 37 for each with 5 and 10 mill

when i went to bed last night they were 50 trill and 100 trill power

did admin change the amount of power for coverts or something so there were no more Quad powered ppl ???

it is like i am missing a digit on mine as the rank for it has dropped to from 160'ish to 450'ish and i can't see ppl i could before ???? what the hell...

Covert is unchanged for me, must have been a temp glitch.

But i see the timestamp has went back to Dec 31.

Covert and Anti Covert have been reduced by a factor of 10 to bring the power they produce to be more equal to the other stats in the game. This is prevent people from simply piling on massive agents on PPT to overrun the Alliance rank.


The reduction is universal, but I don't think all the accounts updated. I only noticed the change in my covert power from the large amount to the smaller and correct amount when I actually trained some spies.


The other option the admin presented in the meet yesterday was to increase all other stats by a factor of 10 to bring their power levels up to Covert/AC power level.

I for one in, am in favor of the reduction over the other option.

Covert and Anti-Covert Power Calculations
These used to have a 10x multiplier in them -that is gone. This is to balance the power of stats more evenly. Within reason, att/def/cov/ac/ms should be able to be equal in power levels. (MS less, as it is more permanent, and does not have planets to assist it.)

With covert level 38 with 17mill spies,

See instead of addressing the real problem there, you just decided to whack the entire server, having a high covert used to be something you would work towards etc, now because some people set all there units to 1 stat to boost power, you just decided to hit us all.

Make Lifer Suicide 1:1 that will stop the AC issue.

Link defense and attack, at 75% of your attack is needed in defense power to maintain that attack power.

It is good to see that sabbing has been increased, shame the covert took such a hammering with it, also if it was a global update why has half the server not been affected, and why do it then, if everyones covert will drop by 90% what has really changed?????

It would be nice if Forum/J a s o n actually came on here and replied to us, when doing these updates.


HOUSE VOTE POWER
Is now done by army size - 1 citizen or military gives one vote. (opposed to done by power, as it was before).

If its now armysize not power, why was covert changed?

Ill just train my entire account into attackers and go buy 400mill mercs and have 800mill votes, then times this by 200 members and ta da no one be taking that house off you.

Unlucky every small alliance/ player in the game, you are now being controlled by the Empires of the game, and when the +10% bonus to attack comes and hammers you down, thank your admin for it.

You wanted to balance the game, but still want to push these stupid bonus from houses in, and you cannot see that it will further unbalance the game, seriously who is telling you to introduce this madness.

Well as long as only the number itself is changed (not efficiency and calculating for sabotages)...I don't think it's really a bad thing despite fact it's easy total power gone.

how about being able to click on the planets name on the command centre screen to go directly to that planet instead of having to click on all planets and scrolling down, much quicker just for one click.

The covert change didnt apply for everyone apparently, my freind still has a 90T covert while my 50T got reduced to 6T

A fleet on planet attack must be at least 20% of the planetary pre-mobile defense. This is up from 12%.


so basically "lets make planets untouchable" the prices for fleet are already massive compared to the price of the planet def ](*,)
