Well I guess it was a moot point from the beginning. DDE members have been in our logs for months on end, including against people who had been massed or been recently massed. We chose not to make a large presence in your logs because we know what DDE's response to that will be and has been. We've had on many occasions seen our members massed over very little action (Ryland massing buco over a dmu hit, JT sabbing over a couple hits, InR getting massed because he bought a new account - that was surrendered) and we've tried to find peaceful solutions to these problems, often quite successfully, but the list would just continue to go on. Not a week or two would go by without some incident we'd have to deal with.

So really, it was only ever a matter of time I suppose. DDE masses for hits on its empire and TAF will not stand for being hit and not returning those hits. War was inevitable, even if it was a war I did not want.

I got my g&r for this ascension...have one more after this one is done then I will finally be free of these low covert levels so my activity will be limited in the meantime. That said, I will see you all on the battlefield.

As for you Qacol, I am forever disappointed in what could have been and what instead has begun.

Zero'd a bunch of defenses, nothing major, but it seems like there's not much middle ground when it comes to DDE. With all your wars, it's either normal war-time defenses or JUMPING JEHOSEFATS THAT'S BIG defenses...
