So it makes me a little pissed that my supporter bonus of bank increase is gone now. Where is the restitution for Market turns used in the past and the bank size lost from this update from supporter status. If anything people that lost bank size should be repaid for this crap. Essentially every time I have used a MT to increase bank space or have bought USS or SS in the past are now losing a big part of their bonus. This needs to be returned with AT or UU or Naq. Not to mention the loss of Alliance naq used to increase overall bank size. Some alliances have used 100s of Tril to build their bank sizes for all their members to larger personal capacity.

I personally think this needs to be reset back to way it was. If anything Max out the Covert bonus to banks space at a relative lvl like lvl 37 or something that way it still requires miners to increase vault capacity.

Its apparently a farming frenzy

*coughs* or roll back 6/7 hrs (or when you changed it)

yep this would make some sense.... aparently lots of naq has been farmed due to bug.

Mhm. While giving a ppt/days worth of income to many, I bet many more lost a lot more than they lost.

off one person alone i've farmed over 13 Trill naq, so i'm sure they won't be happy xD

Hope your account gets banned. Back in the day if people took advantage of an exploit/bug, they'd get banned if they didn't send the goods to admin's account. The fact that you're in this thread and taking advantage of it only verifies that you are knowingly taking advantage of a bug.

and your knowingly jealous shuddup troll, you'd be doing it to, if Admin keeps this it's not exploiting a bug, and if he doesn't keep it then there is no harm as it will be rolled back, you'd be dumb to not hit someone for 6.5Trill naq and you know it :D

Their is a huge difference... you know their is a bug and you are knowingly using it to your advantage. As are several people in TL chat at the moment, I am not going to come off PPT and exploit a bug that admin knows about and apparently lacks the common sense to do something about. No offense, but serious jason you need to do something here....

Thank you Ifrit. RoKeT... everytime I think you can't look more stupid, you out do yourself. Why would I be jealous of someone exploiting a bug knowingly and stupid enough to post it in the thread?

My concern is obviously with the people in DDE's shoutbox holding alliance funds with their previous bank sizes... and have now leaked out due to admin's nearsightedness in testing this out before implementing it... or at the very least protecting everyone from his stupid update by putting them on PPT first.

The intended effect is (for clarification for those who don't want to actually read and understand)

If your total bank capacity was above the cost of your next covert level; no change.

If your total bank capacity was below the cost of your next covert level; it's raised to the cost of your next covert level.

If your total bank capacity is below 1tril, and so is the cost of your next level; your bank space is raised to 1tril.

THAT is what is supposed to happen, last time I checked there is still a bug, and banks are BELOW what they should be. I assume Admin is working to fix this.

problem with rollback: it would be at least 18hours rollback.
i backed up just the table -not the whole database - before update (did not forsee these issues).

so its a bit of a big deal. and affects EVERYONE. And can go horribly wrong once started.
I use this as a last resort only.

Those that benefitted beyond reasonable can email in their benefitted naq amount, and we can remove it... or give it to the admin account (id 1).

thank you.

Admin, not to poke fun, but if you put everyone on PPT before making drastic changes - and leaking banks IS a drastic change - then no one would be having issues. :) Just for next time.

So those that didn’t get the chance to benefit can also email asking for a contribution?

Do you really think people will give up the benefits? I doubt it.

Honestly J going back 18 hours would prob be better then letting what you are letting go... I have a feeling some people are going to quit because of this and we deff dont need that...

if i only lived backwards, i'd have perfect foresight...
if i only learned from past mistakes, i'd not be an idiot...
if i only ...

shouldacouldawoulda.... :-"

honestly - this is unfortunate but recoverable...
in even the medium term, its not a huge impact...

that said, will see if there is anything else (outside of rollback) that makes sense.

till then, individuals can email.

and 'i did not benefit' is not a good reason. those that did are expected to return ; those that got lost can ask to be reviewed; those that did nothing and were not affected, are not affected.

Oh... and Jason, I know of at least one person that wasted their Market Turns on bank capacity upgrades because of your screw up. Are you going to reimburse them with their Market Turns since they used them to keep their naq from leaking out, when before this update... they had the space?

agreed. a roll back is definatelly needed. and as I stated before, if you plan on updating something that has direct influence on peoples rescources ... put the game on maintenance mode or put all players on PPT while changing stuff and bugfixing.
