and why that thread which has no clear meaning , it points to nowhere isnt considered spam as u posted there?

I haven't deleted, or even moved any post in that thread. I gave the verbal warning, then when I was asked to lock it by the user involved, I obliged and locked it.

The thread was on topic within Stargatewars General (Forum for all general ingame discussion) as it was reporting a big milestone ingame and was congratulating the user.

did kikaz asked u in that moment or what???
and since i asked u b4 and im asking u again , which is the milestone? then u deleted my post and locked it

The only post that was deleted in that topic was done so by the forum user who posted it right after they made it. Kikaz chose not to share, and instead asked for the topic to be locked.

I do not care what milestone it is, as that is ingame.

i dotn mind u care or not but do u know what the milestone is?
is it ok to set a thread leaving no clue to what it calls

suddenly 4-5 mods wo were very active in the past mins went inactive , so sad

im not say u knew it or not, a user sets a thread to inform other users that someone did smth , but what , if that cant be said the thread is null.

I would take it up with Kikaz.

It is not the place of the mod or anyone else to tell you what the milestone is when someone who did not acheive the milestone posted a thread saying some vague milestone was reached by Kikaz. If he wants you to know, he will tell you. Yes, the thread is null and void, which is why it was locked.

Back on topic. Thread is not spam, it is ingame related.

Once again it wasn't spam, it was related to ingame discussion. As Kikaz did not wish to reveal what milestone he may have achieved, it was locked to prevent it becoming spam.

It's not spam to congratulate someone. But if that someone requests that the thread be locked without explaining exactly what he is being congratulated for, that is his choice. That doesn't make the whole thread spam, it just means that the thread can't go anywhere beyond "congrats!"

He means that the key point to the thread was not mentioned.

But, Lithium, it was not mentioned because the person it involved did not want to mention it. Probably because he did not wish his account details to be publicly posted on the forum.

I congratulate XYZ for reaching a milestone in this game.

every oher post including the thread topic is pure spam cuz it doesnt carry an objective.

if this way isnt spam then ill fill that section with several gratz to game users for milestones they have reached or not that they want it not published and that is spam.

guys why is hard to admit a mistake just cuz the involved are mods. but when we other users spam we receive flowers. its so pathetic.

Actually, several people were asking for what the milestone was (not spam). Juliette said she would leave it for Kikaz to say. When it was found that Kikaz didn't wish to reveal it, the topic was locked.

Yes some people did spam (and were verbally warned within the topic). But the whole topic wasn't spam.

Yes the thread isn't spam. Some people may have spammed in it, but that doesn't make the whole thread spam.

so as far as I am concerned this is mostly spam and no players is going to take the time to go and read through it all :smt106

as for taking mods seriously, well there are some one just can not take seriously cus the things they say on the forums or on msn when they are not being a mod, thus certain mod choice may not have been the wisest

When a mod isn't posting as a mod, they are free to post however they like (within rules of course).

However, when posting as a mod, the majority I have seen do so in a professional manner. It can be fairly easy to determine if a mods choice is the wisest, but how they conduct themselves as a user does not reflect upon this.
