Exactly, there is a big ego booster in seing the numbers next to your fleet of oneill class motherships or ha'taks or whatever.

And buying motherloads of them!

A point: only strongers could have it, so:
Weak and new players could have 50-75 % of damages less than good players (ranked 750-1,150) with 30-50% of damage less than top 500 players 15%-30% less than top 100 with full damages...
Weaker you are, less damages suffer of ships...
Good idea, that shut mouth of not agreed people :D

what if u could buy them on a different menu specially for ships and decide if they are on ur attacking forces or ur defending forces

I mean new and weak who would be attacked by ships should suffered of 25%--40% of full damages capacity of the ship, good players suffered of 45%--70% of full damages capacity of the ship, and top 500 suffered of 75%--90% of full damages capacity of the ship, Top 100 suffered of full damages capacity of the ship

from what i know about mother ships is that thier big. i think that when you go to buy a mother ship you have an option to stick toops in it (the more troops the better the ship is). this will work with "apophiis the great"'s idea.

As it should be. I figure if there expensive they should be upgradeable if the troops are considered an upgrade? I hope they are less vulenerable to spies! It should take a lot to knock one off! (this is comming from a spy himself!)

One more: The Tauri are always whining about being the most disadvantaged race. Should they be given the ability to steal ships?
They are good at this in the series. Would they sacrifice x spies or what? I do not know............

this is what i came up with

first

they should cost 1,000,000 a piece
used for Off and Def
need 150 Attck units and 150 Defense units to run it at maxium effeicintcy
not easy dammaged but is very expenisve to repair. Not easily destroyed if destroyed u lose 300 units

The simplest ones (X-302/Death Glider/RepliDart/<insert Asguard design> and transport ships should cost no less than 300,000 Naquada each, and that's the absolute minimum.

How about you train Starship officers or Pilots or something that are specially trained for the starships/motherships/whatever you call them

From what I understand, This is how it will be done. Forum kind of officialized it in a previous post, I think it was: any major updates comming soon. I think Myfriend was trying to clue us in on this too! But yes it is official, there will be troops going into them. Possibly something to which you are speaking robo! So with this in mind, lets devote less time to the troop arguement in this thread there are bigger "theories" to discuss when it comes to the ships! There is nothing left to say about the troops when we know he has taken our previous suggestions to heart(?)

1 mill would be an excellent price! As I have stated, if the ships are upgradable! (anyone can get 1 million quick, such a price would make them pretty weak!) Should ships have their own individual weapons? Or will a ship's weaponry be what you see in the armory as we speak? I myself are in favor of new fresh weaponry only usable/compatable with the motherships!!

you could have an empty vessel basically, then you add weapons and men to it to make it strong maybe limit it to 20 weapons and 100 men or some thing like that. that way if it cost like 750naq and then upgrades could cost more depending on what weapons you put on it. also by doing this you can make it a defensive or attack ship. what do u all think?

perhaps a ship can only be sabotaged after all weapons in the ship have been destroyed, this would make them durable! I like the idea of def/attack ships. I just hope some weapons/sheilds(?) are strictly mothership only! Maybe there should be a seperate fortification/seige tech upgrade for the fleet and only applying to the fleet!
