2. we were already planning a vacation.

as stated the weekend of March 16-18th is the time frame we were looking at. we all already have plans through the 24th, but are inviting others to join us for the weekend.

I have set up the post for info to be update, etc on our alliance website. as well as an open chat room .. you dont have to be registers to respond to the post or to go in the chat for it.

So far not many suggestions on the west coast location so I might as well throw it out. Come to San Francisco, See something different.. perhaps the gay pride parade that happens at the end of June.

Are you in San Francisco? I'm for a gathering here as I'm about 15 miles away down in Millbrae. ^_^

The Florida one is officially going to be taking place, we have purchased our plane tickets

so the dates are confirmed
as tweety said downtown disney/pleasure island would be a good choice for the evening
there is much to do as far as restaurents and bars etc..

Times are set, tickets bought and 5 week to go.

Saturday we are going to check out Epcot center I think, we are still open to what park to go to on the days. Our tickets only limit our start date at Universal and Island of Adventure to Sunday. We have 7 day tickets and we want to be there for the Mardi Gras day on the 24th so our tickets can't be used before Sunday the 18th. So how about Saturday at Epcot and Sunday at Island of Adventure if anyone is up to it after Saturday night. Get a bit of variety in there.

Zeta, Tokra, Taxo, Rek, Eggsquirl, Moraven I have heard from, what are your preferences.

Go for something on the West Coast guys. We would usually join you there but this year we had planned a trip to Florida already. We are out of Idaho.

well if we decide to go with having a central US con, Oklahoma City is fairly centralized.

um just a thought here, this is a game. Why dont we hold a meeting a the largest gaming convention in north america? aka GenCon Indy! Middle of August so all the kiddies are out of school and so its not a complete waste of time and money there are TONS of other things to do there. ie play in card tournaments, check out the HUGE exhibit floor and get lots of free swag (to give to me!!!)

I'm working GenCon Indy (as i did last year) in the UDE Tournament area. Just go into the gaming hall and look for the biggest crowds in the room, then look beside those crowds and I'll be at the next stage over laughing at the people working the WoW TCG stage (and yes thats World of Warcraft) Apparently theres a dance that takes place on the saturday night too. So if Nuto Vixen comes up all of the geeks on the forums here can ask her to dance, and be turned down of course.

Hey well since this game is based on SG-1 why not in Colorado Springs? Norad aka Cheyene Mountain is right down the road...

Just to clarify

Myseri, FunEFarm, and Twysted are flying from Northern Idaho down to Orlando, FL on the 16th of March. We plan to meet up with various other StarGateWars players in Orlando and hang out. So far I have gotten the "reservation" from the following:

Getting closer. I think it is Epcot center for Saturday March 17th at opening. After that it will be Pleasure Island for dinner and partying.

Sunday will depend on the shape you are in after Saturday night. Plan accordingly.

I have also heard from Moraven and Eggsquirl and a maybe from Taxo.

well if we can get one planned for late summer/fall, I would be game

epcot is a good place
nice attractions and different food and beverages in the differnent countrys
so it will mix it up a little
there is also city walk at universal that is pretty good also
could also do that after IOA

I think Sunday will really depend on what shape people are in after Saturday night. It all sounds fun.

So how are we all going to find each other. Any Ideas. We will have Tweety, Myseri, Twysted and me in a group together. We are all staying together. Killerbox may be with us too.
