Well, it is not our responsibility to brainstorm acceptable ideas for CoP to implement. We can only voice our concerns and hope that the leadership can find a way to rectify the problems. You ask us what our problem is with the CoP, and we tell you. You are under no obligation to make any changes, but since you did pose the question, the right thing to do is at least listen to people without belittling them.

While your summary puts a negative view on people's problems with CoP, allow me to re-summarize what I have read in this thread and have come to understand their opinions.

*randomly choosing and destroying those much weaker then you for mere pleasure
*CoP's power allows them to both make and break the rules(rules as in acceptable behavior)
*smugness and ego
*retaliation goes beyond a massing and often consists of a lengthy blockade
*the existance of not only an untouchable alliance, but an untouchable group of alliances consisting of over 250 players is a detrement to the game
*membership in the CoP gives a handful of players a license to be an ass
*CoP are "above the law", can do whatever they want to and often do
*CoP allows it's puny players to attack much large players and threatens you with their full power if you retaliate

Those are the reasons listed within this thread. Obviously, you are under no obligation to consider ANY changes in policy, but hopefully these answer your questions. If you want honest suggestions on what policy changes should and could be put into place that would be fair to everyone including the CoP, that's a much larger task with much more resposibility. I'd recommend setting up a committee to discuss such matters if you really want sensible suggestions.

lmao..what whining!! now let me point out some facts..this is for omega atleast. You join Omega and you are guaranteed to be massed before too long. It's like a rite of passage. Everyone knows Omega is the most difficult alliance to get into. Once your in, you have to carry your weight. So we go to war alot! So what! Almost every alliance we went to war deserved what they got for scheming behind our backs.

Now let us come to the collective CoP. Which other group of alliances actively hunts cheats in this game? The answer is none! Our enemies like to talk nice and condemn cheating..but have no problems getting into bed with them if it serves their purposes.

We are not cruel alliances. We have actively helped almost every alliance we've fought. We do not break our word, unlike some alliances who prattle about honour but have no idea what it means. And 99percent of the time we do not attack randomly. Remember an attack on us will be retaliated upon even if it takes a year, so sometimes it appears as if there is no reason. Ask ivanhoho and fremen what I mean. They massed me in ascension, along with their cheating buddy nebulator (who btw everyone treated like a hero, proving my point) in November 2005. Well now one was forced to quit..and the other is on permanent vacation mode in ascension and will remain there at my whim.

The CoP group of alliances exists for the benefit of it's members and will change at it's own whim and fancy and no amount of whining will do u lot any good.

Taxo thought we were allowed to have them it seems then got mad when he realized we not allowed to have them it seems.

I am still lobbying for the change to the game to be made that would "Allow Non-CoP members the freedom to have and express opinions or their own design." So far every time I suggest the bill I get arrested for breaking the law that I am trying to intruce a change to. It's a maddening process.

It didn't! People that aren't CoP only exist as farms for the CoP and nobody ever asks cattle their opinion!
