It usually isnt published on the forums exactly where we will be meeting up, for security purposes... So I think you shoudl let whoever is organizing the day know before you just show up and get lost, frustrated and go home posting about how you were stood up

I guess this is my cue...I am thinking
Friday Night, we throw some cash on the bar and meet up at the Infamous Caxton in Paddington.
Saturday, we throw a few prawns on the Barbie at Southbank (home of Expo 88), which is on the banks of the Brisbane River.
Saturday night, we throw caution to the wind and dance the night away at a Retro 80s club (AB Style), preferably non smoking as my lungs have not yet recovered from the Melbourne one.

Sunday we visit the Storey Bridge Hotel (Old Bomb Shelter).
Can't beat those Cockroach Races.
Follow up meet could be Newcastle in 3 months, if it ever stops bloody raining and they manage to get the Pasha off our main beach.

Such cruel irony... Australia is so desperate for water, and the sky gives it to us all at once in the wrong spots. Very rude.
So that will be in October for the follow up? I may, stress may be able to come...
I hope you can come back to a SMOKE FREE Retro in September Robe, Victoria has banned smoking in pubs and clubs as of July 1st, so we wont need to worry, and we can just focus on busting moves on the dance floor.
(we will put you on PPT well before the night btw).

Sounds good. All Brissie clubs are now 100% smokefree indoors with a small designated outdoor smoking area outside.
I'm warming up my wheelbarrow for my journey down the hill home

Sounds like a plan - if I can gather the capital together, I might see you all there

But you had other distractions during the night... And the next night, if my memory serves correctly

Now now Whitey, keep it clean and wholesome in here, even if we didn't that weekend...
Look forward to seeing up here mate. Or if not, then during the next Melbourne one.
And nice to see 30 people in the possible area. Should be a great time for all.
