Official info released!
Nano-AI Cruiser Squadrans have been discovered to be birds trained to drop rocks on unsuspecting soldiers. Also known to attack planets in masses to cause damage to the basic structure of the crust.
Motherships are floating platforms that both defense and attack soldiers can man. (in response to that weird 30% upgrade) It's also been discovered that some people are manning each soldier with two rocks or two trashcan lids to increase productivity.

considering it was on the DD Teamspeak when we composed it.. and how often you were "here but not here" .. it is quite possible.
CAUTION TESTING AREA

Can we confirm that they drop rocks and not a more corrosive type of bird droppings?

Unconfirmed, more research needed.

All we need are our tinfoil hats to protect us, failing that i forsee some sort of dustbin lid umbrella

and we should all remember our NBC suits. Now an important tip for these suits, as bin liner fabric is quite fragile at the edges, duct tape should be used to reinforce and seams/joins you need to make in your suit

yes. duct tape. as obi-wan said "it binds the galaxy together". that's the technology used by MS to pull the planet from orbit. ya just duct tape it to the MS.

Defence planet:
A planet with a large amounts of rocks (in ring form) floating around it. In case of attack, the planet's orbit is altered by masses of space-going ducks (using duct tape) into the path of the attacking force. Thereby the attacking force is bombarded by the rocks from the ring. One ring to bind them all...
Attack planet:
A large, low density planet trailing your attacking force, pulled with miles of, you guessed it, duct tape. The attacking force then launches this piece of, what is essentially, large rock onto the defenders, hoping that it will probe large and strong enough to get past their dust bin lids.

Maybe one day I will format the audio version of this for the memory of the Matt that I knew as to why we made this post.
In the meantime... all weapons testing, due to unforseen circumstances beyond my control, has been terminated.
