If this update *about only being able to spend LF cache on upgrades* stays.. then (as someone else mentioned) it makes Energy Flow utterly useless. As the only time it'll ever get used is if someone is trying to descend you.. and if they have the power to blow through your LF reserve (and any cache you have) to get to your LF... then you won't ever make enough LF with energy flow to make a dang bit of difference.

i got "You have 3645160 / 3645160 Ascended Life Force"

& i get " You are not powerful enough to accomplish such a feat. Wimp." when i try to upgrade my Energy Attack Power Level from lvl 33 to lvl 34(less than 10k ALF).

Not a bug, read the previous posts.

it is a bug, they just assumed it was an update, it's too stupid to be an update because then flow would be totally useless.

Well it's been a few hours so I might as well point out the 'bug'.

When you convert DMU to LF, it fills LF first, then it goes straight to cache. So no worries. Worry only when they change it

I personally don't see why the update was made, it was a gamble on using LF anyways since when you empty it, you are at risk of being desacended in one attack. Now it's like the game is FORCING us to 'play it safe'.

I rather take the risk. I also agree with Arashi, this makes LF worthless, and it will slow down ppl powering up. Also since the cashe filles up the slowest of them all.

When trying to power up my account it says
You are not powerful enough to accomplish such a feat. Has been.

I clearly have more than enough LF to do this upgrade and it won't allow it.

Yes, I rather take the gamble too. Two steps forward, one step back with this server :/

ithis powerup thing has to be a bug. it does not say anywhere that you can only use cache to buy powerups. actually here is a quote

"4) upgrades can be bought with cache & life force (not reserves) - with cache used first. LF only used if you are 'short' in your cache."

So as you can see you can use both cache and LF to buy powerups. cache is used first then LF (but not reserves) when you run out of Cache. So forum please fix this or clairfy on the ascended page about what is going on. thanks.

I think it means you need to have cache to buy a power up. Example, you have max LF, reserve, 1 cache. You can buy a power up, it takes the 1 cache, and the rest from LF.

On the other hand, you can't buy power up if you have no cache at all.

Someone can try this theory out by getting LF the 'old fashion' way (DMU -> LF) and report back.

I know you can still buy power ups without the LF being full since I cashed in my 900k APP and can buy plenty of power ups even when my LF/reserve wasnt full.

I cannot do upgrades. I get this message:

(only type used for upgrades)

The upgrade I want cost much less than LF I have. I cannot do any update.

ive got this problem too. i could upgrade my personal attack which was only level 50 but i tried to upgrade my max LF and get:

You are not powerful enough to accomplish such a feat. Half Ascender.

I have 1.5mil in cache and 2mil in normal life force. the upgrade only costs 1.7?

i sold of LF Chache to check the theory that if your LF is not full, you can buy Power Ups, found out that was not the case. You can only buy Power Ups with LF Chache. ( And Yes My LF Reserve is full and my LF was full before i sold of LF, had LF in LF Chache but not enough to buy an upgrade).

Remember, you use only excess will - so you need to have full Ascended Life Force, and reserves, before you can gain (and therefore use) Ascended Life Force Cache. Or use currency to fuel your life energies, if you do not want to use time....
