GunZ I have posted this on both our forum and here so that there can be no misunderstandings.
Ascended Empire does not censure its members on this forum. They are able and encouraged to express their opinions openly and honestly, however such opinions are not always the opinion of Ascended Empire. We are a diverse group. We grow stronger through our differences and our ability to work with each other despite any such differences of opinion. That is the Ascended Empire way.
As such we find that this is a somewhat difficult topic as there have been assertions in the past by various members of the SGW community that using such a tactic is cheating, the most notable one that I am personally aware of being Dean_S, who was briefly an Alpha alliance member. We appreciate however that what Dean_S did is slightly different from what your leader has done and that when those people who are above the cap introduced by the game Administration do wish to ascend, that such an action is their only recourse unless they are willing to potentially lose a significant number of men.
I wish to ascend again myself and at this point in time I am uncertain as to the exact number of men I will have in my account at the time and therefore how many I will need to broker out. In a best case situation, I would be personally doing the exact same thing as your leader has done, assuming that it is still an option then. This is something Death Berry is aware of and because of this, while the wording of his statement is unfortunate, I do not believe he wished to make any accusation of cheating, instead I believe - and have confirmed with him - he merely wished to bring the action up as a discussion point. Upon reading the thread, I find that this particular post best explains this situation and I believe is what Death Berry was trying to imply.

I am equally certain that he was not aware at the time that it had been brought up at the weekly meetings with Admin as the timing of those meetings make it difficult for him to attend.
This is a difficult issue for everyone who is above the cap of 75million men and it is something that should be dealt with in a way that allows those people to keep those men. I believe dynamic caps were being discussed and well, in light of this, all I can say is bring ‘em on! Or at the very least an official statement from Admin condoning this action at ascension would help to relieve tensions and create understanding in the community as to what is and is not allowed when using this particular brokering method.
