i remember when i used to be scared of Omega << its a true story

was fun though... now theres just no fright.

maybe its time for Omega Empire to mass just about everyone! for fun that is... it'll be a shocker for everyone, imagine all the whinning it'd create over the forums though...

I was hoping to have a good exchange of thoughts, which seemed to work out fine. When I got back, the tone of the thread had changed and he had left.

I think your right Mr Mystake. Omega where the most hated and feared alliance in the game for a very long time and everybody wanted to emulate them.

Come on Omega, re-grow the teeth and reclaim your former glory

the point of this thread is to make people realize that the way certain people have been hounded out of the game and indeed the forum is not right. its also not right that some members of omega, (or any other player for that matter) can still post on main while others just cant be arsed to put up with people hounding them.

i don't condone anyone whining, **Filtered**, hounding (or any other phrase anyone wants to use) other players either ingame, via PM or publicly on these boards.

i still maintain that these boards had more life when omega took greater part in them...and that wont change even if omega do turn into bullies.

i think i've made my point to both omega and the community so if there are no objections, this can be locked...unless people still have something positive to add?

does "Your a n00b" count as positive ??

I don`t see how one could miss an alliance... I mis certain posters thoe, that I do... characters, not alliance siggies... some of them are/were omega and some not. I miss wolfie... Heck, I miss times of Robe and Juan even... and others "hounded out of the game and indeed the forum"... by certain someones even... wait, this thread be evidence of carma? (j/k heh, it`s just that crocodile tears bring out the black comedian in me )

Well, Omega didn't really post all that much before...

I think it was that they had a much bigger presence...

It's simple really. People really need to learn that:

There's a time for barking (Arguing/Debating).
There's a time for biting (Action).
and most importantly but most forgotten,
There's a time for tossing a bone (Choosing not to say or do somthing or instead to put a positive focus on the opponent).

It is so much easier to tear someone down then it is to acknowledge them even if you don't agree or like them. Unfortunately, people tend to take the path of least resistance. No one wants to toss a bone, no one wants to give an inch and most of the time, people refuse to listen to other opinions or berate someone else's idea without providing a viable substitute of their own.

Proper communication is about give and take, but this forum is all about taking. That is why a lot of people have given up, moved on or found other places to enjoy the social and communal aspect of the game.

Garbage in, Gargage out and most of the players disappearing are off to find more sanitary and welcoming conditions.
