It has nothing to do with stats. In real life if we were at war I'd have the option of removing your head from your shoulders once you surrendered, but in this game, all we have is someone's word. If you can't keep to a decision, there is no point you playing this game. It is an unwritten rule. As for Korruption, I don't have IC at the moment.


And Pug, players quitting and rejoining is different. They didnot surrender.

and how ill do it ? again its not up to you ... do as you wish, and ill do what ill need to

Edit: you said you removed korruption, yet he's still in OE....are you keeping your word?

oki if it were real life war you wouldnt have the option of removing someones head due to the geneva convention and the articles of war unless of course you welcomed a war trial afterwards. Yes if people quit the game then come back then they didnt surrender and are still at war, im not arguing the point as im not sure if INR or Korruption surrender then rejoined or quit for a week or two and rejoined. All your proclamation does is make it harder for more of your players to leave as it leads to a tit for tat well we wont allow surrenders then ( my opinion not TAF's ) which means players just go awol on vac which leads to less players playing and the game dying even quicker that it does. So the quicker admin actually brings in a way to win a war the frakking better

so your reversing all the accepted surrenders are you, which leaves the option for your opponents in this war and any other war to do the same as it shows you dont keep your word. That should go in your recruitment thread - join us and if you leave during a war for whatever reason due to our previous actions you can still be massed and sat on by everyone, bravo where do i sign up Anyway this is going nowhere so im off to the pub as its my only day off, good luck with your pronouncements, they remind me of the old fella sitting in the corner in the pub mumbling i used to be someone and so on and so forth

If you feel abandoned and this is the only way you can do it, to keep OE empire not falling apart, maybe it's time to take a vacation.

It's okay ETL, I understand how hard it is for you to try to act tough while sitting there building nothing. You can't win ingame, not enough people want to help you change the game so that you could win ingame and quite honestly you just aren't that scary anymore you little ole kitty kat.

Yeah I realize we brought back someone who surrendered, but you know what? I don't really care. InR is a good friend of mine and he is always welcome in TAF as are many people. We don't put the fear of god into our members to make sure they stay put and sometimes they choose to leave. TAF, however, is a pretty special place and you see many of them come back all the same.

Now I could here choose to make a crack about people's words and how many times OE has broken their word with TAF over the years, but hey, this is a polite message.

You once again have proven what I say about what you ETL and what OE are all about. Don't worry, TAF still accepts individual surrenders. We understand when people no longer want to take part in the kind of gameplay you demand or want something different from this game. I'm sorry to see Korruption go, he was a good fighter who, despite what you may think of him, at least had the guts to build and fight. That's more than I can for the majority of your empire.

I think what truly sums up this situation best was a comment I just got on msn: "so maybe you should surrender :O then he'll mass you for sure "

So ETL, after 6 years of conflict between our two alliances, including some of the greatest battles ever to be seen in this game, our conflict is reduced to you praying on people who surrendered cause you're too scared to try a defense or two? Somehow, this doesn't surprise me...

Seeing as tho you want to mass people out of the war as opposed to those actually fighting it, i must ask.. If i surrender will you mass me?
