a forum issue/bug

Im having a slight issue with the forum, it doesnt effect me regularly, but when it does it is quite frustrating. Normally im a spammer and the problem doesnt happen there for some strange reason.
anyway, when coming to the site via the full url (in my favourites) a HTML error screen comes up. (see attachment)
i follow the link to the index, and generally it doesnt effect me further. However on occasion when i go to the 'debate central' section, it pops up again and the only choice is to return to the index, thus interfering with my forum browsing and participation.
I honestly dont know what it is, but i could try guessing. however trying to provide more information would be a feeble attempt as I do not now much about this PHP version.
if either it can be dealt with or at least some information can be shed on the topic, i'd be more than greatful.

Oh, I know what's wrong... you're using IE

(jk, it happened to me too a very few times, but the error message usually disappears shortly after)

I made this thread about a problem... i had no intention of talking browser choice. This problem DID NOT APPEAR while using IE7 in the past. THUS not the problem.
i apologize if this seems rude, but i came with a problem expecting some form of appropriate response. I dont appreciate being told to run around in circles clockwise, anticlockwise and whatever when it doesnt have anything to do with the issue.
again, if that was rude, i apologise. If there is an admin that can PM me and tell me whats going on or something... that'd be fantastic. In the meantime, if this thread can be disposed of, i'd be much appreciative.

Dang, Jack, Zera, look what you've done
Anyway, since I don't know much (i.e. pretty much nothing) about SQL and stuff, I simply did what I always do in such cases - googled it:
If you get a Too many connections error when you try to connect to the mysqld server, this means that all available connections are in use by other clients.
The number of connections allowed is controlled by the max_connections system variable. Its default value is 100. If you need to support more connections, you should set a larger value for this variable.
I doubt this helps too much, though, since I don't think there were 1203 people (registered, hidden and guests) online at the same time. It does say something about _Chat, but I also find it hard to believe there were 1203 people on IRC or whatever (and don't really see the connection either).
Bottom line, no idea why this happens, but I don't think there's anything you can do about it.

IE is a delicate punching bag

this error happens when the SQL database doesnt clear the sessions properly when a browser disconnects from the site, its nothing to do with what browser you use but a problem with sql itself

Not forum bug... its SQL related... I think the server has some overload at times:)
