Okay, Im in the middle of writing a script. Idea generation, stylisation, all worked out.

but that dont matter. The story involves fighter aircraft, and as a side project, i'd like to develop a Flash movie about a manouverability display, this and a bit of dogfighting.

I dont know if i can draw anime well on my PC without a tablet, so is there anyone who can give me some pointers?

anime style as far as characters faces are concerned: similar to GITS stand alone complex. dress and everything else is sorted.

anyone? Flash?

theres a good (not free) anime animation program i could tell you about, and i might be able to find a tutorial about drawing without a tablet for you, but i honestly dont know if it'd do any good. :/

drawing with a tablet is hard enough, but(for me) drawing without one is damn near impossible. though, i have heard some people can do photoshop and other drawing programs better without a tablet, but meh...im not one of them

i dont have a tablet so for the moment if im gonna draw anything by hand, its gonna be on paper and scanned... old school i know...

ive actually been looking at Tablet Laptop PCs... theyre quite expensive tho...

for around 20-80 usd you can get an external tablet. some work on usb, others on bluetooth. i got a bluetooth one, only to realize i have no idea how to activate the bluetooth stuff on my laptops... <_<

thats an idea... but i prefer to see the drawing where im drawing it, so it'd be more expensive for me...

ah well... looks like ill just buy one of those tablet laptops. after i get the money...

meh. i'd just use the cheap tablet and make a buncha stuff and sell it and make money, then you can afford the expensive tablet laptop.

but then, im insane and my plans usually dont work out

well im merely scriptwriting and providing a style base... hopefully if the script is noticed well enough (should be, its mind screwing enough) then maybe by that time i may have it done properly... I dunno. until then, ill draw what I draw.

BASIC PLOT PROLOGUE:

3 men (who in other stories) who are the 3rd generation of the 'trinity of light' (the Paladin, the Guardian and Phoenix in Human incarnation). they had previously fought for our world and others.

after the fighting many years back, they went their seperate ways. however the effect had already taken its toll. the darkness that was fought somehow came back (its too long to explain here) and infected the world. because of this, the population dropped 10% or so. over the course of 9 or so years the world dramatically changed, not just demographically but geographically too.

tectonial plates shattered and landmasses shifted to form a new nation. the quakes that resulted caused a 25% drop in the global population. the remaining people formed a new nation, but there was widespread conflict. The northern nationstates fighting the southern nationstates.

NOW the three characters? the phoenix couldnt give up fighting all those years back. He joined the military. he saw no reason to hold onto his powers and so he channelled all of who he was into his work. The Guardian was always one for technology, so he went his way, tried to forget the past and forged a career.
the Paladin however disappears.

The year is 2022, war has been raging for 15 years. The Phoenix resigned from the military because he discovered something about the reality of the war. the wars had caused another depression, and a further drop in global population to probably a total of 50%.

the primary story line flow is following the three as they reunite, aswell as some civillians caught in the crossfire. the formation of a resistance to their new leadership and the realisation that there is more in the dark than what we thought.

I guess it could be summed up as a supernatural thriller/adventure/wartime/THING that twists your head in more than one way. Beleive me... the kinds of things i have written are sooo weird... a friend of mine who knows of the project wants to know nothing of it because it screwed with his head so much... he wants all the questions answered in one hit so hes waiting for the finished script...
