Timeout improvements

Right now, I´m so angry that I could chew up my keyboard, it has happened again... busy writing a masterpiece of a PM.... Hit send... and the game timed out.. :smt076 I know it has happened to all of you an I know it is my own fault. :smt010

Suggestions:

So, instead of ranting and chewing up my keyboard I´ll suggest that whenever the game times out, the session is saved and you´ll get a prompt to login again and if you do, you can continue where you were. :smt038

OR

If the game times out from the "sending mail" window, you get a 1 hour timeout time. :smt109

OR

If the game times out from the "sending mail" window, the mail is "sent" to your outbox, but isn´t sent until you log in again and verify that you wish to send them and that it is infact you that has written them. Could be done easily by a java script msg box that alerts you that you should visit your "outbox". \:D/

I can not describe in words how annoying it is as an alliance leader to have this problem, I mean of course, I can always use notepad, word etc to write PM:s but it would be SOOO nice to be able to write directly ingame. =D> :D

may be a concepts box or something like that where you can save your messages temporarily before sending them, when you haven't finished them yet.

sounds very difficult to program into a game like this...

easiest solution if you are typing out long messages often, is to use something like notepad to type it in... then copy over when finished...

A very simple solution to this which doesn't require any coding or even Admin involvement.....

When you finish typing your 'masterpiece' PM, then highlight the whole message, right-click, copy, then click send message. If it timesout then at least you can log back in and send the message again by right-click and paste.

I do this myself most times now when I send a long message because i've been caught out by this issue a few times.

Yes, I use that too, but when I forget wich happens about once a month or so... my keyboard is in risk of getting teethmarks.. ;)
