Random acts of peace

Has anyone else besides me been getting random people you've never heard of, dealt with before, or people who have no relations with your alliance set you to peace before?
It's been happening to me for a few months now. At first I returned peace like the first week, but after that I was getting so many and I was lazy to set them all back to peace. Like I've prolly got about 100-200 people with random peace to me...

I get like 30 of these a month from different people. Random acts of peace. No NAP with their alliance, no relation to CO, never attacked them, never traded with them, etc.
I'm just curious why people do these kind of things and also if anyone else gets stuff like this?

I get maybe 5 a week, but nothing like you. Maybe they heard about your rep, and set you to peace asap.

i got peace from LOKI too... why does this surprise you?
In norse mythology, Loki was a coward, liar, cheater, thief and muderer... his name tells you all... don`t declare peace cos you will be backstabbed.

Yeah, but I'm not in the top 10 and today I've already recieved 2.
And yes I know people do it if you have NAPs or have attacked them or traded with them, but I have neither with this guy or the other 100+ people.

i get like AT LEAST 2 messages of people asking me how many times im ascended and whats the bonus and at least one peace declaration a day.
lol but i never return peace.

I've been getting some random ones aswell (with seemingly no relation), which is kinda strange seeing as my account is still quite small. Though I suppose it's because I just got a CO and they're just past friends or something.

The best was when the whole TO vs FUALL thing was starting to kick off....Su set me to peace by accident - apparently he meant to do something else to my account, I don't want to know what - and we're still at peace amidst the war

people like this tend to be noobish folks who set peace to anyone they see as being powerful. probably in the hope that you wont attack them. I used to get and ignore them all the time before I sold up and started again. now I'm a n00b I think I should go set sme random peace
