One of the ideas featured a group of soldiers that were genetically crossed humans and dinosaurs. This was proposed by John Sayles.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0369610/In September 2004, screenwriter John Sayles was re-writing the script, with the film re-slated for a winter 2005 release.[22] His second draft focused on the new character Nick Harris, who returns to Isla Nublar, the location of the first film, and retrieves Dennis Nedry's can of DNA. He is captured by the Grendel corporation, which now owns InGen, and he is hired to train five genetically modified Deinonychus as mercenaries.[23]

Thank the heavens.
The film was delayed to 2009, because of the 2007 Writers Guild of America strike.[31]

I would be incredibly interested in being afiliated with this film in every way shape and form possible, includeing direction, production, filming and staring...
Although in all seriousness, however cool it would be to have penguin people and dino men, it would be a shambles...so i hope to god they dont do that, it would not be in keeping with the dinosaur monster theme, to be honest i think they should set it like more of a zombie film...
(being the zombie buff that i am and general horror film enthusiast my personal ideal would be as follows)
50 years later...dinosaurs have taken over america...due to a second inccident of epic proportions...or something like that not entirely sure on how it happens, but does it matter?!
a group of survivers have to make it from somewhere to somewhere they think is safe (most likely they discovered it from a radio transmission of some kind) OR people have crash landed on america and are stuck somewhere with no way or comuniateing, presumed dead unless otherwise comunicated, they have to make there way to a big city/safe place (military bunker/radio station/Shopping MALL anyone? ... Im an old romantic...) anyway, its basically now a game of evade and survival and escape, with a few heros along the way, veloceraptors would move more cunningly, and be more like the aliens from the alien films (not that they arnt like them now but they would be more sinister) well thats the general gist anyway....
I might actually write a small screenplay on that, but if it becomes a film rememember where you heard it first...

I like your idea of the dinos invading America. Though why not make it a series of films, or even a serial drama? The first movie/season could explain how the dinosours end up in America and how they escape and how they overrun the continent. The next movie/season could be about how America responds. Then you could make the rest about America trying to clean up this huge mess.
Oh no no no, you misunderstand...
...Humanity has been wiped out, there are only small pockets of resistance left, little/no government remains, the highest ranking military member takes charge of whats left, but he is hell bent on revenge , and ends up naturally getting eaten...
You have to have a Point A and Point B, thats the whole idea of the classic Survival Horror genre!
