look to the future...

ok first of all, i'd like to say nice job on the updates so far main 'n' accension all good, hard working admin staff, i thank you...

but...

shouldnt we be looking to the future, what i mean is, let's make the next lot of updates benifit the smaller players than the bigger vetrans, what i'm getting at is... with bigger 'n' older vetrans leaving the game for various reason, selling there accounts, not everyone has/wants to spend money on a game, well not as much money as most accounts getting sold these days cost.

so i think it would be good to look at improving the game from the point of view as a 'new start'.

when i registerd abt a year go, i started with 20 AT's, my UP was 1 UU a day, i think that is still the case, so let's give them a sportin chance, rather than always makin the updates benfit us lot who have a good foot hold in SGW already.

limits keep rising: (note: if you total population size is greater than 242,739,726 disease will surely strike your lands. Above 182,054,795 and raiding is no longer possible. Above 121,369,863 and trading/buying units no longer possible. Pergatory is not accessible above 60,684,932)

a newly registerd player would laugh at the site of that, a long, long time before that ever affects them.(unless they spend money, which not every player wishes too)

i think a newly registerd account should get more resources to start with, maby:
10bil
1000At's
5k UP 'n' a 5k lifers

ok i know what your thinkin, that would just increase more inactive 'n' multi accounts...

what abt a system where if an account hasnt been logged into say for 1 year it gets automatically deleted, it would cut down on the amount of inactive accounts, making finding multi's abit easier but the new starts will still get some farms to build off of for the start of there future ingame.

last but least Pergatory is not accessible above 60,684,932

that's far to high, perg was made so the smaller players could get a bit of safety, but every so often it gets raised higher 'n' higher, now you get some of the smaller players moving to perg for a chance to build a little, just to wake up to see a 40+ mill army hit you, taking planets ect. they cant do nothing really to beat that tyrant, aye they can declare peace but thats no good if they dont back.

i strongly feel the limit for perg is far to high... so i added a poll.

I fully agree that new accounts need to start with more resources.

I strongly disagree they need anymore help then that, admin has handed them the keys to the game now.

Purg is a joke, always has been a joke, and now is no longer funny.

Make purg a 30 day commitment, both ways or just delete it.

A limit time within Pergatory ?

I mean whats the purpose of pergatory all the farms/raids are in main and obviously u need to wait like 7 day's till u have enough of turns to actually do some decent farming. And than again u need to wait longer.

Also allainces being created within Pergatory gives smaller less advantage as the allaince feel stronger their and farm those willing to catch up.

Yes maybe a "Size reducing" or "limiting the time of being their might help"
but deleting allot of coding ? nah I dont think the admin would have wanted that would have been a waste of time coding it in the first place.

So a solution or upgrade might take place in the future :)

weappologize for poll being gone, but we merged this with the wrong topic, then had to split it, so poll will have to be remade...

highly annoying when not having remembered what topics were about exactly... mixed the other topic up slightly...

a limited time in perg would be cool but say you could still leave be fro that time is up and when your time is up you get booted out ... but then you have peoepl spending all their turns an waitign to get booted out whit no turns a free move to norm as it woudl be

Well for the most part thats what it is now, a waste of coding.

Just put limit at 40mil army for perg, and the non transferrable turns available for perg is bad idea in LONG term, this place was meant to have very few ATs and big thinking who you attack ect...now you are granted to get 1840 ATs a week, so after joy of using them, you'll realize juicy farms who had 10s of bil on open and 200-300k uu will not be as interesting as before!

i agree getting attack turns with your market turns in perg is terrible...

i disagree that 40 mil army would be the limit, a 40 mil army can stand it's own ground so could a 30, even 20 mil army. the limit should be low so the smaller players can choose between perg or main.... the bigger players well there stuck in the big bad realm lol

altho the limits cant be to low, or you would just have a case's where noobs are hostile in main then run to perg for safety...

25,30 mil limit, auto boot at 40

i got the impression admin wanted all us players to fight a lot more, slow us all down on the building... at this rate many average players 30-60mil are siting in perg, not getting hit, benifitin from there own income 'n' farming benfitin from the smaller players income.... it's all wrong, very wrong...

keep perg at what it was orginally made for or just scrap it, the now Lore is very right, it's a joke thats just not funny anymore...

Edit: Perg a side for a min... newly registerd players should start with more resources?

Jan, 2008
Pergatory Limits Decreased
The maximum size realm that can enter pergatory is 20% of the 'unit maximum' before the plague strikes (you can see this value on your personelle summary&training page - it increases with time..).
If you are above 30% of this value, and in pergatory, you will be automatically removed.
This change is to ensure pergatory is not used and abused by very powerful accounts, but is there to safeguard the smaller accounts in time of need...

LOL yip it does, i have the recruitn link on my profile such as bebo ect...

to a newly registerd players the site of 'big players' would put them straight off, probaly wont play as it would take them a very long time to get established... advertising 'n' helping of the small will keep SGW a live for longer...

A matching name indeed... did you know the update was just going to be added or was it simply luck?
Anyway, keep posting good suggestions, maybe they'll be implemented as quickly as this one ;)
