Alright then. What is it?

FOR THOSE WHO DONT know.. im talking about the back story for JJ abrams new upcoming film, and the monster in it of course. If you have not heard of cloverfield, I am not surprised, as most information about it has been left out of the main media, contained inside abrams mind and of course the film itself. I suggest you google cloverfield.

For those who do know what I am on about. I have a few theories of what could be goin on.

1. Slusho's father company are drilling, wake something up.

2. The crashing satellite has some form of alien organism on it (or was made to crash by aliens), or some other form of adverse effect on aquatic life, or adds to the first theory and helps awaken something.

3. I have heard reports the monster is a lion. Im thinking slusho the drink could cause mutations in people with a certain quality, if not have formed the monster some how.

these are a preliminary of my thoughts I could delve further..but i'll pass for now..

I hope it's not all hype (as what it seems like). A lot of movies that had hype had little else to stand on when released.

from the commercials I can already tell it is the kind of creepy movie I generally don't go to. that and the free handed style, with all of its shaking around and near-constant movement, would probably give me a headache.

I saw it today. It is pretty different. End was weird as the movie didn't really end. I won't spoil anything, but if you want to know pm me for details. I give it 4 out of 5 overall.

I really liked this movie. Not for the sci.fi. whatever or "horror" but for the relationships that guided us through the story.

Perhaps I'll leave it at this, or I might speak on it more. I haven't yet decided.

I liked it. The Monster was, very original, the response of the americans was great! decimate the entire city...love it.

I thought Abrams did it justice and it was no let down when the ball was set in motion, even the ending wasnt to shabby at all! I think it needs a book or a comic at least to give us a few more answers..but I think a second film would be a bad idea..sequels never really go to well..except for the terminators..the aliens, LOTR, Indy and of course Star Wars (but they nearly fell to it!)
